THE FINDER: BONES’ John Francis Daley to Guest Star

How many hours we get of BONES this season may be up in the air, but one thing is for certain — fans of the Fox drama will get a dose of John Francis Daley (Sweets) on an upcoming episode of the show’s quasi-spinoff, THE FINDER.

Last night, THE FINDER executive producer Dan Sackheim tweeted a photo of Daley on set with THE FINDER stars Geoff Stults and Michael Clarke Duncan, and BONES/THE FINDER creator Hart Hanson retweeted the picture with the comment, “See anyone you recognize from Bones?”...

David Boreanaz confirmed as much to me Sunday at the Emmys when he divulged that the episode will reveal where Booth and Brennan will be living. “It’s very funny,” he said. “It’s not your normal place.”

emember how Give Me My Remote told you just a few days ago that the previously ordered 13-episode seventh season of BONES (which itself was a decrease from the original full-season order) might now be getting a few extra hours?

According to TVLine, Fox has requested the drama produce an additional four episodes that will be aired, well, some point in the future. The network had no comment on the rumored extra episodes...

Starting a family may not be the biggest challenge for Booth and Brennan during Bones' seventh season.

The Fox drama has cast Andrew Leeds (Dirt, Nip/Tuck) as this season's big villain, Christopher Pellant, TVGuide.com has learned. The character is described as a genius "hacktivist," who landed on the FBI's radar when he shut down military communications by cracking into both the Senate and the Defense Department's websites. Now under house arrest, the team is baffled by Pellant's ability to seemingly carry out a murder spree without setting off the alarm on his ankle monitor.

Question: Is it possible that those who found the season finale of Bones a sham is because one episode has Bones on the bed being comforted by Booth and the next Bones tells Booth she is pregnant and he is the father? It seems to me that people fail to remember that episodes are not day-to-day events but have time frames that could span a week or months. If one kept close watch, the clues were there. So please, Matt, tell Hart Hanson that even though most fans wanted an obvious romance with some bed time, it was done well and we are looking forward to a great new season. My question is this: How much attention do producers give to the expectations of loyal fans such as myself and thousands of others who wanted Bones and Booth together? Matt Roush: Consider Hart Hanson told. It's not like he hasn't heard it all. I'm not particularly keen on stoking this controversy again — they've established the relationship, do we really need to see the deed? — but I will say that producers of shows like Bones tend to always be aware of fan reaction. Hanson is a very active, and reactive, tweeter, for what that's worth. But it's their show to develop as they please, and to tell their stories on their own timetable with their own priorities, and that's the way it should be. I'd be as upset thinking fans were calling the creative shots as if network and studio executives were meddling more than they should.

Bones | As we all know, Booth this season will be vexed by a new recurring villain, before the Fox series breaks for Emily Deschanel’s maternity leave. The foe has previously been summed up as a “tech-savvy” adversary, but now I’ve got new, juicy details. Pelant, as he is called, fancies himself a “hacktivist,” and is currently under house arrest for — among other techy transgressions — shutting down the DoD’s communications network, putting soldiers’ lives at risk. But as testament to his craftiness, even though an ankle monitor keeps him from stepping past his front lawn and despite the fact he’s got no Internet (the horror!), Pelant is somehow carrying out a murder spree. Sounds like more than enough to keep Booth busy when he’s not shopping for a pram.
