Written by the Daley and Goldstein, the single-camera comedy, described
as a mix of adrenaline and heart, follows a group of adult underdogs as
they try to ignite a spark in their lives and stand up for themselves
when their town is overrun by a teenage street gang...

The Most Shocking Deaths of the 2014-2015 TV Season
The 2014-2015 TV season has finally
wrapped up, though there are a few shows still delivering us fresh new
episodes. For example, the season finale of the FOX drama Bones will not take place until June 11, and the network’s reality series Hell’s Kitchen will
air its last episode of the season two days earlier on June 9. Like
all of the television seasons prior to this one, there was a lot of
shocking twists and turns on some of our favorite series. However, many
of the most outrageous of storylines involved some our most beloved TV
show characters perishes. While some series will wait until the final
few episodes to say goodbye to these characters, other shows killed off
their stars at the very beginning of the season back in September. Here
is a look at some of the most memorable deaths of the 2014-2015 TV
season...

John Francis Daley Is 'Bones' Greatest Victory, Because You Can Never Have Too Much Sweets
How’s your day been so far? Kinda meh, right? Well, that’s probably because you haven’t spent any time thinking about Bones’ resident cutie, John Francis Daley,
yet today. Because, let me tell you, that’s a day-peaker if ever there
was one. So much so that it drove me to invent the phrase “day-peaker.”
Seriously, though, he’s a pretty impressive guy. He got his start on Freaks and Geeks with the likes of Jason Segel and James Franco, he wrote the screenplay and story, respectively, for both Horrible Bosses films, and he’s easily the best thing to ever come out of Bones. If that’s not too bold to say.
I’ll spare you all of the Bones/boning jokes, because I don’t particularly want to alienate any of my readers right of the bat. But, just know that there are plenty of jokes re: boning John Francis Daley rattling around in my brain. Apologies to his wife (except NO APOLOGIES, NEVER SURRENDER). John Francis Daley Opens Up About Sweets' Shocking Bones Exit: 'I Feel Like I Lost a Part of Me'
Bones pays its final respects to Dr. Lance Sweets in tonight’s episode (8/7c on Fox), and it seems likely that John Francis Daley will be among the millions of fans watching the character’s emotional farewell.
“I had a strong bond with Sweeets,” Daley tells TVLine one week after his alter ego’s onscreen death. “I really did feel like I was losing a part of me. I had so much compassion for him. He was such a good person… He had gone through so much, and to see him die in such a grim way was shocking.”
As TVLine reported, Daley’s burgeoning directing career — he’s currently helming a remake of National Lampoon’s Vacation — led The Powers That Be at Bones to kill off Sweets. He'll be going head-to-head with another doctor while the doc battles with the guilt in choosing to help his wife terminate her life. It'll be a very interesting conversation to say the least, and a great moment for John Francis Daley to do some scene-stealing.

BONES: John Francis Daley Teases Sweets’ Increased Involvement, the Latest on ‘Swaisy’
With BONES’ Brennan pregnant for the entire season (so far), that’s allowed for some of the more supporting players to take larger roles in solving the crimes. The most noticeable “promotion” of sorts? John Francis Daley’s Sweets bump up to Booth’s “partner.”
