Best of 2011: Top TV Moments of the Year
Bones' Baby on Board (May 19)
Booth and Bones did it. And we didn't get to see it. But the payoff is one big bombshell in the show's sixth season finale when Bones tells Booth that she's pregnant. "You're the father," she says, as he breaks into a huge smile. Producers insist a baby was always part of the plan, but we're pretty sure Emily Deschanel's pregnancy had something to do with it too.

What's so offensive about finally seeing Bones' will-they-won't-they couple finally do the deed? Well, maybe it's that, after six seasons of waiting, we didn't see it at all! Sure, the characters' loving embrace was sweet and we're excited to see the two attempt parenthood together next season, but is it too much to ask to see Booth and Brennan get biz-ay when it's not a dream?

Question: Is it possible that those who found the season finale of Bones a sham is because one episode has Bones on the bed being comforted by Booth and the next Bones tells Booth she is pregnant and he is the father? It seems to me that people fail to remember that episodes are not day-to-day events but have time frames that could span a week or months. If one kept close watch, the clues were there. So please, Matt, tell Hart Hanson that even though most fans wanted an obvious romance with some bed time, it was done well and we are looking forward to a great new season. My question is this: How much attention do producers give to the expectations of loyal fans such as myself and thousands of others who wanted Bones and Booth together? Also: I have always wondered what does the term spoilers really mean. And I saw a picture of Bones and Booth with them holding a baby and it said it's a girl! Is that true! — Anne
Matt Roush: Consider Hart Hanson told. It's not like he hasn't heard it all. I'm not particularly keen on stoking this controversy again — they've established the relationship, do we really need to see the deed? — but I will say that producers of shows like Bones tend to always be aware of fan reaction. Hanson is a very active, and reactive, tweeter, for what that's worth. But it's their show to develop as they please, and to tell their stories on their own timetable with their own priorities, and that's the way it should be. I'd be as upset thinking fans were calling the creative shots as if network and studio executives were meddling more than they should.

Who loves #BONES? YOU DO!! Fans let their passion fly with their favorite @BONESonFOX episodes & moments!
Maybe it’s the fact that while we’re seeing all the new fall shows prep for their debuts in the next few weeks we’re still more than 2 months away from Season 7 of Bones (take a deep breath! New episodes are coming!) but I heard from so many of you about your favorite episodes, guest stars and moments in the last six seasons that it’s good to know that the time without original episodes has only made your love for the show grow! And, I have to add, the fountain of knowledge all of you Bones fans have is impressive to the say the least!
As I stated in the original post asking for your thoughts and comments, I’m not doing a poll in the sense of a Top 10 of the best episodes but just thought it would be fun to collect a lot of the episodes mentioned the most and I also found some photos and video clips that are fun, too. So, let’s look back at some of the Best of Bones!...

Bones - 'Season 6' Announced: Correct Date, Pricing, Bonus Material and Packaging on DVD and Blu

A month ago, just ahead of the 2011 San Diego Comic Con, we passed along word from our old pal Michael Ausiello that a Bones poster intended for the annual event showed that DVDs and Blu-rays of the sixth season were planned by Fox to release on October 4th. Today, however, the folks at Fox Home Entertainment announced their finalized plans to retailers for Bones - Season 6, and the actual street date turns out to be a week later, on October 11th.Clocking in at a bit over 1000 minutes, the 6-disc DVD set will cost $59.98 SRP in the USA and CA$69.98 SRP in Canada, with anamorphic widescreen video, English 5.1 Dolby Digital audio and subtitles in English, French and Spanish. The 4-disc Blu-ray version will clock in at $69.99 SRP in the USA and CA$79.99 SRP in Canada, with high-def widescreen video and English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, plus the English, French and Spanish subtitles. The DVD can be pre-ordered at a discount from Amazon.com, using the button link below (just over the package art for each version).
