If this season of Bones has taught us anything, it's that the
past is never just the past. "Nothing ever really ends," says executive
producer Stephen Nathan. "There are always ripples." So we've seen, in
Booth's (David Boreanaz) relapse into gambling addiction; in how various
Squints have dealt with the death of beloved coworker Sweets (John
Francis Daley); and now in the looming specter of an old foe...

Hiatus Help! Winter TV Spoilers 2015
BONES
The Fox drama is again in the family way as Brennan and Booth attempt to keep the news of their second pregnancy a secret from co-workers. Meanwhile, Hodgins and Angela face "a good amount of conflicts," T.J. Thyne reveals, especially when the topic of spirituality vs. science is brought up after Avalon receives a message from Sweets. (Adds Michaela Conlin: "It's an artist and a scientist making a life together. That will always bring up some issues.") Another couple, Cam and Arastoo, find themselves at a crossroads when he goes back to Iran to take care of his ailing brother and in turn becomes a political prisoner. But perhaps most troubling of all is this teaser from star Emily Deschanel: "There's a possible serial killer" coming up soon..Tipsters: geraghtyvl, KATIARABREU

(Video, Youtube) BONES’ Jonathan Collier on the Show’s Next Serial Killer: ‘This One You Don’t See Coming’
BONES has taken on many serial killers during the show’s run, but since the show unraveled the FBI conspiracy earlier this season (following Sweets’ death), there hasn’t been one longer-running baddie the team has had to focus on trying to stop.
But that’s going to change soon.
When the show returns in 2015 there will be a lot of things in store, as executive producer Jonathan Collier teased in the video below, and one of the big things is a new serial killer fans won’t see coming.
Check out the video below for more from Collier!...

Actor Andrew Leeds chats CRISTELA and BONES – Exclusive Interview
In ABC’s new comedy CRISTELA, Fridays at 8:30 PM,
series co-creator Cristela Alonzo plays the title character, a
graduating law student whose working-class family is startled by her
career choice.
Andrew Leeds plays Josh, Cristela’s work colleague. The actor, originally from Florida, is also known to NCIS viewers as tech operator John Booker and to BONES fans as brilliant serial killer Christopher Pelant. His many other credits include the films MAJOR PAYNE and SUBJECT: I LOVE YOU, arcs on THE PRACTICE, CULT, DIRT and NIP/TUCK and appearances on AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN, THE FOSTERS and CASTLE.
Leeds is at a Q&A session ABC holds for CRISTELA and the Television Critics Association. When it ends, he remains to discuss his character further, along with the late Pelant – and, it must be noted, the remarkable tie he is wearing for this occasion...

Ask Ausiello: November 5
Question: Do you have any scoop on the post-200th episodes of Bones? —Cassidy
Ausiello: Sorry, but I’m not ready to move past No. 200 just yet, especially since fresh intel continues to pour in on the milestone hour. The latest buzz from the set is that the episode’s rapidly expanding guest cast will also include… Pelant! Yep, Andrew Leeds will appear in the Hitchcockian “200th in the 10th,” and he’ll be joined by four other late additions: Michael Grant Terry (squintern Wendell), Eugene Byrd (squintern Clark), Pej Vahdat (squintern Arastoo) and Michael Badalucco (Brennan’s ex-assistant Scott).

BONES: Stephen Nathan Teases the End of the Ghost Killer Arc
The Ghost Killer was just really properly introduced on BONES, but the end of the arc is already around the corner.
“We had such a long-running serial killer, that we didn’t want to do that again,” BONES boss Stephen Nathan told me at the Fox TCA party. “It would be a mistake to repeat — or try and repeat — [what we've done]. Pelant was on for a year and a half, almost. And before that, we would have three episode arcs or five episode arcs — the Gravedigger went for a while — but this is going to be very, very different in the way we’re handling this. She was a serial killer, but that doesn’t mean the killer is going to continue to kill.”...

Exclusive Bones Clip: Pelant's 'Return' Rattles Brennan, Launches Her on Killer New Mission
Pelant’s been in dirt-nap mode for three months yet Brennan still can’t get the pesky psychopath out of her head.
In Friday’s all-new Bones (8/7c, Fox), Pelant pays his former muse a nocturnal visit and plants another seed about the Ghost Killer — a serial menace Brennan believes, now more than ever, exists.
Booth, however, remains highly skeptical. In fact, he thinks his wife has gone off the deep end, and he’s not shy about telling her exactly that in the following exclusive clip.

Winter TV Spoiler-palooza! Your Scoop-Filled Guide to 31 Returning Favorites
BONES
PREVIOUSLY ON... | Booth and Brennan settled into married life, Booth and Angela buried the hatchet and Cam's identity thief turned out to be her old college roommate Haley.
COMING UP NEXT | The successor to Pelant's throne of terror, The Ghost Killer, will be introduced in the first episode back… sorta. As exec producer Stephen Nathan explains, the evildoer in question "will not necessarily be personified" in the Jan. 10 episode. "We will know that he or she -- most probably a she -- exists," the EP adds, "but this is a very ephemeral villain." Speaking of frightening new foes, Squintern Wendell "is greeted with a pretty shocking health concern" -- one that he will be dealing with "for the rest of the season," says Nathan. And on a somewhat lighter note, Booth and Brennan will find themselves navigating some of the "crazy little practical things" that newlyweds and parents face. "What happens if something happens to one or both of them?" Nathan muses. "What is their financial situation? Are they pooling their money? All of the practical things that confront couples will be confronting Booth and Brennan."

Mega Buzz: November 19, 'Bones' Baddie
Anything else you can tell us about the new serial killer coming up on Bones? — Layla
ADAM: As executive producer Stephen Nathan previously hinted, the new nemesis will be much more of a shadow-dweller than Pelant. "We will not know whether or not we are meeting the person when we see the episode," Nathan teases. However, Brennan will definitely be on the lookout. "[Pelant's warning] is in the back of Brennan's mind," Emily Deschanel says. "Where she has doubts is whether, when Pelant died, their hopes of solving those murders died with him. I think she fears it did." Pelant's words may not be the only thing haunting Brennan: Nathan teases we will see Pelant again in the flesh! Might Brennan be seeing ghosts again?

Jim's Notebook... The Move to Fridays, Hodgins, the New Killer
Bones: For some reason, I’m not bothered at all with the fact that the long-running Fox series is moving to Fridays starting tonight because with the trend of watching online or on the DVR becoming the norm, being sent to air on Friday nights is no longer a death sentence.
Another reason I’m not concerned is because of what Executive Producer Stephen Nathan said earlier this week, which assured me there’s plenty of good story coming, too. For example, in one upcoming episode, he shared, “Hodgins is somebody who is sent out into the field, something he always loves a chance to do, because there is a murder that revolves around a family that was close to his family when he was growing up. So, he is going into a world of wealth that he no longer enjoys.”
Also, in that episode, we’ll get more with the new serial killer, who, you’ll remember, Pelant warned Brennan about.
“Brennan is the type of person who is not going to forget the words of warning that were given to her by Pelant, and that has been simmering for the past six episodes or so,” Nathan explained, “and we will see that surface in a way that concerns Booth and the other people at the lab and is something they are all going to have to contend with, seeing how immersed and overwhelmed Brennan is by the idea of this new serial killer.”

Now that Pelant is dead, is Bones ever going to mention the tampered alarm clock? –Laura
As a matter of fact, yes. It may just take some… time. “We will eventually find out what 447 and the alarm clock meant… or mean,” exec producer Stephen Nathan tells us. “But the series is a long way from being over. Remember, it took a while to find out what Brennan wrote to Booth when she was buried in the car. Patience.”
