Amazon is establishing itself as a formidable platform for original content in the wake of the huge success of Transparent.
This Friday, another series will be making its debut following a strong response during the annual Amazon Pilot Season. The Man in the High Castle has received a lot of buzz since its first episode was released and recently Amazon made the second episode available ahead of the series’ full release.
We caught up with actor Luke Kleintank, who is one of the leading stars of the show, to find out more about what we can expect, talk about the epic scale of the show, and to discuss how he got involved with the show in the first place...

Who’s taken over for Brennan at the Jeffersonian on Bones? — Deter
They still haven’t found a permanent replacement for Brennan, who has voiced her disdain with pretty much every candidate that Cam has chosen. In the interim, “Arastoo is the main intern who has taken over,” says new showrunner Michael Peterson. “He’s really filled in for Brennan in her absence. Eventually Brennan will come back, but what that means for Cam and Arastoo is very interesting.”

We first met Dr. Zack Addy when he was Brennan's assistant. In
Season 3, the serial killer known as Gormogon is able to influence Dr.
Addy to assist him, leading to Dr. Addy's eventual sentence to serve
time in a psychiatric hospital.

During a recent call with Bones producer Stephen Nathan, we
learned that Cam and Arastoo’s relationship would hit a roadblock when
he contemplated returning to Iran: “There’s great stuff between Cam and
Arastoo, [with] Arastoo going off to Iran and their relationship being
in jeopardy and his life being in jeopardy.” Specifically, that will be
dealt with in this week’s upcoming episode...

BONES Bonus Video: Pej Vahdat Has Some Questions for Michael Grant Terry and Eugene Byrd
Red carpets can be a bit of a madhouse as talent, reporters, and publicists/managers, etc. squeeze into a relatively confined space. (Not a complaint — it’s actually often fun — but things can be a bit crazy.)
Which brings us to BONES’ 200th episode celebration.
There was nothing, really, abnormal about the carpet, but there were a lot of people there, and it was fairly easy for people to approach you without you noticing. And while I was interviewing Eugene Byrd (Clark) and Michael Grant Terry (Wendell), their co-star, Pej Vahdat (Arastoo), realized this was a good opportunity for him to ask them a few of his burning questions, and he snuck up on us and hilariously crashed the interview. (Which is probably fair payback for Byrd video-bombing Terry and Vahdat on the set of BONES.)

Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?
A) I just wrapped on “Bones” for the beginning of a pretty epic storyline that is going to happen for me and Cam (Tamara Taylor). I think it is a well known storyline that Arastoo leaves for Iran because his brother is sick. Then, it goes from there. It causes a bit of problems with the relationship. Then, I’ve started work on a play at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. I’m going to do that for the next two months...

Health-wise, the actor says, “There’s still a looming fear of the unknown, of coming out of remission at some point, but things are looking good for Wendell.”

(Video, Youtube) BONES: Carla Gallo on Having to Give Birth On-Screen -
BONES’ Daisy is having a baby, and while Carla Gallo (Daisy) had some hesitancy about having to film the labor experience, fans will get to see the child be born in the next episode, “The Puzzler in the Pit.”
Of course, the moment will be extra meaningful for all the characters involved (and the viewers), since the father of Daisy’s son is Sweets (Daisy’s off-on boyfriend), who died in the season premiere. (AKA, odds are good there will be some tears.)
So what will the birth be like? I spoke with Gallo (who was accompanied by fellow squintern Eugene Byrd, AKA Clark at the 200th episode celebration on the BONES set last week, and whom had his own praise for Gallo) to get her take on it…

The latest buzz from the set is that the episode’s rapidly expanding guest cast will also include… Pelant! Yep, Andrew Leeds will appear in the Hitchcockian “200th in the 10th,” and he’ll be joined by four other late additions: Michael Grant Terry (squintern Wendell), Eugene Byrd (squintern Clark), Pej Vahdat (squintern Arastoo) and Michael Badalucco (Brennan’s ex-assistant Scott).
