David Boreanaz, 40, (the 100th episode of Bones airs on Fox April 8 at 8 p.m.) shares the 25 things you don't know about him with UsMagazine.com.

1. My first car was a white Yugo. I tipped it over more than once.

2. I was a ball boy for the Pittsburgh Steelers in high school.

3. I used to sneak into studios, circa '91, in a suit and pretend I was an executive while passing out résumés.

4. When I was a little boy, my older sisters told me if I didn't behave, the childservices woman would come take me away. And our babysitter dressed up as an old lady and came to the door to get me "as a joke."

5. I was a Deadhead in college.

HUGE SPOILER ALERT for 100!

There aren't many actors who get to celebrate their TV show hitting 100 episodes, but David Boreanaz can soon claim he's done it three times! Both Buffy The Vampire Slayer and spinoff show Angel hit the centennial mark, and next week he'll hit that milestone again with his Fox crime drama Bones. The special episode, called 'The Parts in the Sum of the Whole', will see his FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth and Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) recount their first time working a case together. We caught up with Boreanaz - who also directed the episode - to find out more.

Mega Buzz: The Zack/Hodgins Bromance

I need scoop on Zack's return to Bones. — Jessica
ADAM: I hope this isn't too disappointing, but the reappearance of Zack (Eric Millegan) in the show's 100th episode on April 9 is only in flashbacks. Interestingly, we learn that Zack and Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) weren't always buds, which explains why one of the two clubs the other with a baseball bat.

Chances are, if you're a Bones fan, you're dreading Rena Sofer's 22 April guest appearance as seductive Dr. Catherine Klein. But have no fear, Rena's loyalties are not divided. She attests, "I only want to recur on NCIS!" Obviously, I think Bones is a better show--I'm biased. But it works out for everyone in the end! ;) However, it does say that Rena will be a continuing romantic interest this season on Bones--whatever that means. So, we might be seeing a bit more of her than just in The Predator in the Pool.

David Boreanaz talks BONES- “We’re the Little Show that Could and The Little Show that Has”

Hey BONES fans! How are things? What have you been up to since we last met on February 4th? If you are like me, you have been missing BONES and are exited for its return this Thursday, April 1st for episode 99, The Bones on the Blue Line and the 100th episode airing April 8th, The Parts in the Sum of the Whole.

I was ‘out of this world’ lucky enough to catch screeners of both the 99th and 100th eps, and yesterday had the opportunity to be on a conference call with David Boreanaz. I’m here to bring you the scoop on what the hard working actor has to say on what’s coming up over the next few weeks…and the rest of the season.

If you can stay spoiler free, I highly recommend it. I went into both of those eps knowing next to nothing about them and really enjoyed them. But if you can’t resist, and you need a quick fix, then read on. I am sure it goes without saying, but we are talking spoilers here after the link. Read on at your own risk.

Head's Up: Trend #Bones on April 1st

Just a head's up! #Bones fans will be trending #Bones on Twitter all day on April 1st (when Bones returns with 8 all new episodes in a row, beginning with The Bones on the Blue Line). Trending means basically tweeting the phrase "#Bones" and something Bonesy such as "I love #Bones" and "#Bones Rocks", etc. to get the phrase "#Bones" on Twitter's Trending Topics.

Remember:
1. Don't tweet #Bones more than once in each Tweet. Tweeting something like "#Bones #Bones #Bones #Bones #Bones" will basically disqualify it for Trending Topics.

2. Don't tweet the same thing over and over. (i.e. Tweeting "I love #Bones" and then tweeting "I love #Bones" and then tweeting "I love #Bones" will basically disqualify your tweets because they look like spam.

Have fun! Get the word out to your fellow #Bones-a-holic!

Only because you said "please" twice. Well, this picture is worth a thousand words, wouldn't you say? What if I added that this intense moment does not take place during the flashback? Yep, this is a current showdown between Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel). Are they talking about eloping? Arguing about Team Puck versus Team Finn? Can't say, but I can promise it is a moment not to be missed.

David Boreanaz Talks ‘Bones’ 100th Episode Spoilers & More

With Bones returning this Thursday, I was invited to take part in a conference call with Seely Booth himself, David Boreanaz, where the former vampire provided some insight about the past, present and future of everyone’s favorite forensic anthropology drama.
Boreanaz was more than happy to talk about the upcoming 100th episode, Fox’s original plans for the series, why Zach (Eric Millegan) is no longer on the show and what is in store for the season finale and beyond.

Thanks to Twitter, I found out how vociferous Bones fans can be. So, in hopes of staying on their good side, I have separated the highlights into non-spoilers and spoilers. Although, just to save myself from any angry messages, I deem everything below as MILD SPOILERS.
In total, the conference call with Boreanaz lasted around 40 minutes and I’m only including selected highlights below – but make sure to check back tomorrow as we’ll have the entire interview posted.

WARNING!!! Includes major spoilers for the finale! Some say it spoils more than or just as much as the Hollywood News article. I tend to disagree, but others would be more inclined to disagree with me! Read at your own risk!!!

'Bones' David Boreanaz: I'm not saying I don't want to see Booth and Brennan together

BONES 100th Episode Review

I had the opportunity to watch the first two episodes of the second half of season five of BONES episodes, "The Bones on a Blue Line" (airing April 1st 2010) and "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole." While "The Bones on a Blue Line" was enjoyable, I am going to skip reviewing it and go straight for "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole" which constitutes the 100th episode of the show.

Now, usually, the 100th episode of a TV show is celebrated with some really cool guest star or a cool storyline that makes for some good promos; rarely do we get to have an episode that changes a show in the most fundamental way. "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole" is one of those episodes that will stand out as being a rare gems that changes the show forever...

The TV Addict: To my fellow BONES addicts who insist on inundating my email box with variations of the exact same question, I’ve got some bad news for you. I for one will not be responsible for ruining the super-adorable proposal that may be coming sooner than you think.

It's Season Five and David Boreanaz is Still Digging "Bones"

These are only the spoilery parts. For the whole article, follow the link at the bottom.
Word is that changes are afoot for the BONES characters this season, starting with the series’ 100th episode, “The Parts in the Sum of the Whole,” scheduled to air April 8. David Boreanaz, who stars as FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth and is one of the show’s producers, directed the pivotal episode.
Naturally, he doesn’t want to give too much away, but here’s what he will say about his hit Fox show, now in its fifth season and already picked up for a sixth.
iF MAGAZINE: Now that your character Booth realizes he’s in love with Temperance “Bones” Brennan, portrayed by Emily Deschanel, are you playing him any differently?
DAVID BOREANAZ: I would say “cautiously” [so far as] the realization that he has feelings for her, he has these feelings of love, wherever that may go as the season progresses, especially after the hundredth episode. A lot of stuff will kind of come to a head and be revealed, a lot of answers to those questions, what direction they may have to go into, without giving away too much. So I think that he’ll stay the course with her right now and then see how that progresses. But after the hundredth, there will be a lot of answers to those questions.
iF: The hundredth episode is largely about the first time Booth and Brennan worked together on a case …
BOREANAZ: Yeah, it’s a flashback episode. [It takes place] a year before the pilot. It’s something that involved a judge and a woman that fell down some stairs, and basically that’s just the B plot. The A plot is really the way these two met and how their chemistry kicked off, how he was pretty much dealing with his gambling issues and getting in touch with that, and meeting this woman who he ends up working with, ends up really liking. It will start with the two of us in Sweets’ [the psychiatrist played by John Francis Daley] office, dealing with the book that he wrote about the couple, and we just tell him that he’s made a big mistake, and he doesn’t know about the past and our first case together – the real first case together. As the episode progresses, we’ll go back and forth from the past to the office and have a big reveal at the end. Something happens.
iF: Since you know you are renewed for a sixth season, are you going to end this season on a cliffhanger?
BOREANAZ: I think someone’s going to get married. That’s all I’ll say.
iF: Probably not your character …
BOREANAZ [deadpan]: I don’t know.

Interview: David Boreanaz

I've posted the spoilery parts here. For the whole article, follow the link at the bottom.

Time to celebrate as Bones reaches its landmark 100th episode on Thursday 15 April. The episode, The Part In The Sum Of The Whole, will be directed by the series' leading man, David Boreanaz. Here he talks about what we can expect from the episode...

Did you ever think Bones would reach the milestone of 100 episodes?
We're into our fifth season now and from the pilot episode, which I loved, I haven't ever thought about getting to 100 episodes.

I've taken it one episode at a time and we've all worked as hard we can to make it better each time. I don't look at the numbers; I just look at the work and the quality of it and the different relationships between the characters.

What are we going to see in the 100th episode?
When we start the episode, Sweets is ready to publish a book about Brennan and Booth, but we tell him that he's got bits wrong and he needs to know about the first case we worked on together. So we go back in time to when we first met - a year before the pilot episode - and we see these two characters meet and solve their first case together.

There's intrigue and romance, and there's tequila involved too. When we come to the end of the show we realise that everything Sweets has written needs to be re-evaluated. There's a big revelation at the end in the present time and Booth and Bones have things to figure out.

There's a suggestion that the 100th episode will be a turning point in Brennan and Booth's relationship. Is that right?
It is a turning point, yes. There's a crossroads and each of them has to decide which path to take and it will, somehow, affect their relationship towards the end of the season and into next.

Robert Englund, famous for playing Freddy Kruger, is going to be starring in a slasher-themed episode. What can we expect from that?
We go back to a high school where there's a reunion and a murder's been committed. Robert plays this really interesting janitor guy who could be one of the suspects. It's a high school reunion for Bones so we've got some year book pictures of Emily in there which are funny.

And is it right that the Grave Digger will come back this season?
Yes, we have the trial of the Grave Digger, but the end result could leave the door open. She's a very smart woman and I'm sure she'll find a way to come back. The trial's tough for Bones, she has to figure out how to not be so scientific when she's talking to the jury.

Hart Hanson has said that two regular characters will get married this season. Are you going to spill the beans?
We may have filmed something that mentioned something about a wedding, but I can't remember. I don't know what you're talking about!

Season four ended with a fantasy episode, is there anything you can tell us about the season five finale?
We've just started working on that and it looks as though the characters will be going in separate directions for a while, for reasons I can't talk about. It's going to be a really nice way to end the run.

The team’s latest case takes Brennan back to her alma mater, Burtonsville High School, where she and Booth investigate the discovery of an unidentified skull and upper torso. A Milestone for 'Bones'

For five seasons, Bones has bounced around the Fox schedule like a toy skeleton. In April, the police procedural with a romantic twist hits the 100-episode milestone. Fans of the series have ensured not even Fox could bury Bones.

Which is just the way Emily Deschanel likes it. The elegant Los Angeles native joined co-star David Boreanaz and series creator/executive producer Hart Hanson earlier this year at the most recent TV critics press tour to discuss the quiet success of the series. "I actually prefer it this way," says Deschanel. "Big shows like Grey's Anatomy get so much hype and attention right from the get-go. I wouldn't like that. I'm happy they shuffled us around and we somehow made it and people found us."

'Bones': Will Zack's name ever be cleared?

"Bones" fans were devastated when it was revealed nearly two years ago that Zack (Eric Millegan) was in cahoots with Gormogon, the serial killer who had terrorized the Jeffersonian gang for an entire season.

The fan-favorite character was subsequently shipped off to a mental institution and we've only seen him a couple times since.

The pain was
slightly lessened when Zack later revealed to Sweets that he never actually killed anyone. But it's been over a year and Sweets is still the only one who knows this.

Now, Zack will of course be back for "Bones" upcoming 100th episode, but he will appear solely in flashbacks. So, we want to know, is there any chance "Bones" would have Millegan return to wrap up this present-day storyline?

NEWS EXCLUSIVE: Fox Reups Kevin Reilly

I've learned Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly's new deal just closed. His new deal will keep in place for 3 more years. His contract wasn't up until July, but Fox Broadcasting Co wanted to lock him in early as because of all the TV hits he's generating like Glee and The Cleveland Show and Fringe. And for the first time in the network's history Fox won the fall -- outperforming its nearest competitors by 6% in the adult demo, 35% among adults 18-34, and 50% among teens.

Ausiello Scoop: Gravedigger

Question: Thanks for all the 100th episode info on Bones! Do you think you can dig up any scoop on the upcoming return of the Gravedigger? Will someone else be buried alive? —Jessica L.
Ausiello:
Sounds like a question for exec producer (and fellow Smurf aficionado) Stephen Nathan. “One of the Gravedigger’s undiscovered victim’s will be unearthed during her trial,” he reveals. “The legal battle becomes a duel between Brennan and the Gravedigger. I won’t divulge the outcome of the case, but I will say that we haven’t seen the last of the Gravedigger.”

Jaw-Dropping 100th Episode

Fan: Ok, I'll try with a different question. On a 1 to 10 scale, how much are we going to be flabbergasted after the 100th?

Marisa: When I say my jaw literally dropped, I wasn't kidding. So....take that as you will.

Fan: Some critics who didn't like the 100th episode, especially the last scene. So critics are divided which means fans will be.

Marisa: Really? Hadn't seen anyone who didn't like it. But yes, fans will absolutely be split on whether they like it.

Fan: @dorv which is clickclack tv and I forget the other.

Marisa: re: jaw-dropping, I'm sticking with what I said here: http://bit.ly/dajGGp ...it's a good step for the show.

Marisa: Hey, I'm hoping I'll be wrong and you guys will all love it. That would thrill me.

The Big Tease: Episode 99

Did you like the ‘Bones‘ episode No. 99? – Dra_Escapula via Twitter
It’s not quite as stellar as the 100th/flashback episode, but it has some nice moments, bookended as it is by sad sniffles and happy sniffles. Also, the infamous “Page 187″ from Temp’s new novel has surprising implications for not just her and Booth, but also another Jeffersonian twosome.

Ask Kristin: Bones Spoiler Chat

Derek in Charleston, S.C.: I know the 100th episode of Bones is a flashback. I know it takes us to when Bones and Booth first met. What do you know that I don't?
I know that there is drinking involved. I know someone gets fired. I know that this milestone episode of Bones brings lots of juicy backstory concerning Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz), which is what you're really asking aren't you? You are sneaky. All I will say is this: a dam breaks.

Aileen in New York City: I love Bones so much it's insane. Got scoop?
Well, rat poop is important to the case in the April 1 episode. Oh, something less gross? There are some really sweet developments happening for our Dr. Sweet[s] (John Francis Daley). I'm talking something that makes you go, "awww!" or "awww snap!" depending on how you look at it.

Ask the Addict: Spoilers for Bones

Will Booth and Brennan fans be pleased with the upcoming 100th episode? — Stacey

The TV Addict: In a word, yes. In 9 very cryptic and highly ambiguous words that leave a lot to interpretation for fear of ruining all the fun of BONES’ fantastic 100th episode: Things between Booth and Brennan get very physical. Literally.

Ausiello Blind Item: Pregnancy on Your Fave Drama

You know how a lot of times I’ll tease a shocking plot twist in a blind item, and then, when said twist actually occurs, you’re like, “Oh, yeah, I shoulda seen it comin’”? This is not one of those times. Completely out of the blue, someone on a popular one-hour drama is gonna turn up preggers in the season finale!

Your clues: It’s a series that gets a lot of ink in this column — and pretty much has to, as its rabid following is one of the scariest most enthusiastic around. And did I mention that the character who is expecting is perhaps the last one you’d expect to be? As a result, I would imagine watercooler speculation about the babydaddy to go on at a fever pitch right up until the show’s fall comeback.
Yes, it’s that shocking.

So guesses as to the mother — and surprise father? The show? Whatcha got? Sound off below. And oh, since I may be narrowing down the possible candidates on Twitter later this week, you know you’d best be following me via @ewausiellofiles.
