The Witch in the Wardrobe Summary

I'll now be posting summaries of sides on the blog. Unfortunately Spoiler TV will no longer be posting sides, either because they were apparently contacted by the same people as I was. Please don't ask me where to find sides. I will not answer you. You must find those places for yourself. Ask around cyberspace. Use Google.

In the Witch in the Wardrobe, Booth and Brennan are investigating the death of a Wiccan witch known as Zephyra who was stabbed, bat bones were shoved down her throat, then she was put into a wardrobe where she was discovered by firefighters. They interview Willow and Ember, a pair who are found with a burnt effigy in the woods, which apparently represents the reunification of Zephyra's body with the elements. The pair claim that Zephyra wasn't a part of their coven, hardly even a Wiccan at all. Z. used magic for profit and wielded malignant forces. Apparently Z.'s clients employed her to do evil. Sweets is able to contribute to the case because his first published work was based on the Salem Witch Trials.

Meanwhile, Angela and Hodgins, when coming back from the crime scene, are pulled over by a very strict police officer who was also at the crime scene. Officer Abrams always follows the letter of the law. When Hodgins jokes that he was drinking alcohol (which he wasn't), the officer takes both Angela and him in. Angela is kept because the officer found an outstanding bench warrant and Hodgins is kept because he evaded arrest during a protest years before. Angela and Hodgins are finally forced to sit together and talk. Hodgins admits that the biggest regret of his life was that he didn't stop Angela. He said that he panicked when he thought it wouldn't be possible to sustain that kind of happiness. Angela admits that it was like they were playing chicken and they both swerved, but they should've run into one another. Angela kisses Hodgins. "Now that's a kiss. In fact, they start removing clothing when--" they are interrupted by the sheriff and the judge who set them free.

Ausiello: Exec producer Stephen Nathan says look for the Hodgins/Angela/Wendall imbroglio to get “stirred up” in coming weeks. “Obviously it’s a very complicated triangle, because Hodgins and Wendall are very good friends,” he adds. “And now Angela is sort of in the middle of this situation, and re-examining her relationship with Hodgins.”

Bones: Meet Cam's New Boyfriend

It's been some time since Cam (Tamara Taylor) navigated the murky waters of the dating scene but it looks like it won't be long before we see her with another man again. According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, Elon Gold has been cast on Bones as Cam's new love interest.

Gold, whose credits include Stacked, In-Laws and The Next Best Thing, will play a character named Paul Lidner. Though not much has been revealed about the role, executive producer Stephen Nathan reveals that Cam will meet her mystery man "in a very bizarre way." It also looks like Cam and Paul's affair will set hurdles for Cam's relationship with her adopted daughter, Michelle.

Sides were removed. Sorry, I can't post these any more on the site, but I can give you a synopsis.

It looks like Angela and Hodgins are arrested after Hodgins says he's drunk teasingly to an officer! The officer follows protocol and takes them in then finds that Angela has an outstanding warrant for not coming in for a traffic ticket while Hodgins has a charge against him for fleeing arrest during a protest. The story surrounds wiccan witches and the death of one who apparently is dealing with much darker witchcraft than the others and is therefore NOT part of their coven.

Make no bones about it: Cam’s getting a boyfriend on Bones!

Actor-comedian Elon Gold — best known from Fox’s short-lived Pamela Anderson sitcom Stacked — is joining the cast as a love interest for Cam.

As exec producer Stephen Nathan recently teased, Cam will meet her new beau “in a very bizarre way.” He added that the romance “complicates [Cam's] relationship with her adopted daughter, Michelle.”

Elon’s potentially recurring gig kicks off in April.

Bones Nominated for Genesis Award & Emily Presenting

Bones has been nominated for a Genesis Award for Dramatic Series, the episode nominated was The Tough Man in the Tender Chicken. Other competitor for the Dramatic Series category is The Closer for multiple episodes. Emily Deschanel will be one of the many presenters for the awards ceremony. Every year, The Genesis Awards pays tribute to the major news and entertainment media for producing outstanding works that raise public awareness of animal issues. Bones Season Finale Scoop: Real Roll in the Hay?

It appears real, non-imaginary sex might be staging a comeback this season.

Less than a week after House boss David Shore all but confirmed that House and Cuddy would soon engage in honest-to-goodness intercourse, Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan is hinting that Booth and Brennan — who, like House and Cuddy, did the faux deed last spring — might be headed for a legit roll in the hay as well.

It’s also possible I’m reading way too much into Nathan’s comments, so, to be safe, I pasted the transcript of our brief exchange below. Read between the lines and tell me what conclusions you draw.

Is it fair to say there will be a turning point in Booth and Brennan’s relationship in the season finale?
STEPHEN NATHAN: Yes. The season finale is taking shape now and it’s going to be quite a surprise. We literally are in the process of working it out. We’ve had this in our minds for quite a while, and it’s gelling now. It’s going to be a pretty big episode for us in terms of what happens to Booth and Brennan.

As big as last season’s finale?
NATHAN: Yes, but in a very different way. It will be real. [Laughs]. It’s our reality.

No dreams or hallucinations?
NATHAN: No. [The season 4 finale] was a very big episode in terms of production and everything like that. This one will be as big in emotional terms.

Question: What will Booth’s new love interest mean for Booth and Brennan on Bones? —Ellouise
Ausiello: I don’t think there will be any long-term fallout, especially since Rena Sofer is only on board for one episode at this point. But in the short-term, the date will “cause a little turmoil” in their emotional lives, according to exec producer Stephen Nathan, who adds, “It’s nice to confuse Booth and Brennan every now and then. You don’t want the show to become predictable or complacent.” Nathan also points out that “Booth has really neglected his personal life. We wanted to see what it would be like for him to [briefly] explore a potential life with another person… and let him see what it’s like to just be a guy.”

Question: I do not like this whole Booth with a new love interest nonsense! Any hope for Booth/Brennan fans by the end of season 5? —Shorty
Ausiello: Exec producer Stephen Nathan hinted that Booth’s big date with Sofer’s Catherine — which is slated to air in the April 22 episode — will help move B&B “forward towards a bit of a change in their lives.” What does that mean exactly? Grrr. Let me come at this from a different angle: How does the date go? “I guess how the date goes depends on what you think of Booth and Bones and the show Bones. Some people are going to like it, some people are not going to like it.” Let me come at this from a different angle: Nah, I give up.

Question: Need some Bones scoop, please! —Amy
Ausiello: Cam’s getting a new love interest! “We have an episode coming up where Cam meets someone,” reveals Nathan, “and it complicates her relationship with her adopted daughter, Michelle.” Nathan adds that we’ll meet Cam’s suitor in “a very bizarre way.”

‘Bones‘ is one of my favorite shows and I can’t wait for the 100th episode, but they really need to bring Zack back for good! The show isn’t the same without him. – Rachel
I hear your cry – it’s one shared by many – but Eric Millegan’s April 8 encore does not portend a full-time return. “I have no plans to bring him back as a regular,” says series boss Hart Hanson. “The ’squintern’ thing is working very well for us, which is why it happened in the first place – to bring more and more stories into the lab. And that’s going to be more and more necessary as time goes on in ‘Bones.’ For production reasons, we need stories in the lab, and the rotating interns provide that.”

The Booth-Rena Sofer news has me in a funk. Any ‘Bones’ news to cheer me up? – Debby
For what it’s worth, Booth isn’t the only one whose social calendar is filling up. It looks like Cam’s getting a new man soon – and he’s a doctor no less!

Something tells me this is not going to sit well with B&B ’shippers.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Rena Sofer is joining the cast of Bones as a potentially recurring love interest for — don’t shoot the messenger! — Booth.

The former General Hospital Emmy winner — who’s currently recurring on NCIS as a (possibly romantic) foil for Mark Harmon’s Gibbs — will be playing Dr. Catherine Klein, a marine biologist with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration who has been called into the Jeffersonian after finding human remains inside a dead tiger shark. Sparks fly between her and Booth and the two agree to go on a date.

And I repeat: Don’t shoot the messenger!

Wedding Bells on Bones

Here comes the bride! Bones will host a big wedding in May. “One of the four women in our cast will be getting married,” says exec producer Hart Hanson, who (with a little prodding) narrowed the candidates down to these couples:

Booth & Brennan
“It would take a lot to get there, but it’s conceivable,” says Hanson. Really? When I was on set, I observed a kiss between David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel—but it was a behind-the-scenes smooch on the cheek celebrating their 100th episode. The only way a wedding could happen is if they were undercover in a wedding chapel or, as costar Tamara Taylor (Camille) says, “in another alternate universe.” After fans rebelled over last season’s dream-sex finale, I doubt they’d play us again.

Angela & Hodgins
“Angela and Hodgins almost made it down the aisle at the end of the second season. They realized Angela was already married to Berimbau and then broke up,” says Michaela Conlin (Angela). “Although Wendell is turning out to be more than a roll in the hay, Angela is very in love with Hodgins and will eventually end up with him.” I agree and am placing my bets on them! If her character married Wendell, she says, “Fans would probably be upset, and I’d also be a bit bummed.”

'Bones' star Emily Deschanel has told fans of the show to expect dramatic changes this season.

According to Parade, the actress said that the relationship between Dr Temperance Brennan and FBI Agent Seeley Booth is about to change.

Deschanel said: "It seems to me that Brennan doesn't want a child unless it's Booth's child, so we'll see where it goes."

"I do want to see them get together and their relationship is going to change dramatically at the end of this season."

"The two of them have had this chemistry together. But, the physical side of it has evolved very gradually."

"I think that's been a great way to explore a relationship."

Bones Returns April 1

Welcome to the winter hiatus of Bones! Bones will return in eight weeks, April 1st with The Bones on the Blue Line. No promo aired tonight for this episode. This is probably due to the fact that the schedule isn't set in stone until 2 weeks before an air date. I'm curious why they didn't at least have a general promo to bring attention to the hiatus?

There's a new feature on Blogger which lets me add pages! So, if you look up, below the header, there are the words "Home", "FOLLOW", and "SCHEDULE". If you click on "FOLLOW", you can see all of the neat ways you can follow this blog. If you click on "SCHEDULE" you'll see that I'm now going to keep the schedule on that page. :)
