Ask the Addict: Baby Names
The TV Addict: As much as we would absolutely love to reveal the name of Booth and Brennan’s baby. our love of staying on creator Hart Hanson’s good side wins the day yet again. Thus, in lieu of any actual information we hope you’ll forgive us for this highly ambiguous tease: Lifelong loyal BONES fan should already know the name of Booth and Brennan’s baby. And yes, now would be your cue to guess away in the comments below.

Best of 2011: Top TV Moments of the Year
Booth and Bones did it. And we didn't get to see it. But the payoff is one big bombshell in the show's sixth season finale when Bones tells Booth that she's pregnant. "You're the father," she says, as he breaks into a huge smile. Producers insist a baby was always part of the plan, but we're pretty sure Emily Deschanel's pregnancy had something to do with it too.

Coroner Coronation: Television's 10 Best Medical Examiners
Bones’ coroner doesn’t just cut up dead bodies -- she’s also the boss. Having the stomach to deal with autopsies is impressive enough, but when you add in the ability to deal with a bunch of socially-insane scientists, no one can top that.

The TV Addict:While we’re not 100% sure of this, all signs are pointing to Brennan delivering her baby when BONES returns from its post-January hiatus. What’s more, in typical BONES fashion, Brennan’s delivery won’t be nearly as smooth as one might have hoped. Which is to say, despite Booth wanting his baby born in a Catholic hospital and Brennan wanting a home birth in which she can maintain as much control over her environment as possible, the sill-nameless unexpected bundle of joy has other ideas.

ADAM: It certainly won't be before the recently delayed "fall finale," but when the show returns in the spring, Booth and an about-to-pop Brennan will be touring maternity wards. In the same episode, since it's Bones, they'll also visit a prison, where they'll investigate an inmate's death. Can you guess which environment, cleanliness-wise, would be most conducive to childbirth? (Not so fast!)

Harsh news for Bones fans, eh? For those who haven't heard, the network announced today that episode six of Bones, originally scheduled for Dec. 15, has been moved to Jan. 12 to help push the premiere of The Finder. But episode seven is where the party is at! Not only does someone actually have the stones to try and assault a very pregnant Bones (Emily Deschanel), but the parents-to-be run into a "there's no room at the Inn" situation à la Mary and Joseph.
Happy Bones Day!

Ausiello: When the show launches its spring run in March, Brennan will still be with child. But for how much longer? “That is the question,” teases series creator Hart Hanson. “How soon will she have the baby? It could happen [right away in Episode 7].” Hmm… The title of that particular episode is “The Prisoner in the Pipe,” and it’s been rumored that Brennan goes into labor in a prison. You see where I’m going with this?

'Bones' creator Hart Hanson talks Booth's emotional episode
Booth’s grandfather Pops (guest star Ralph Waite) visited and brought with him the news that Seeley’s father had died. At first, Booth couldn’t look past his issues with his dad (he hadn’t seen him for 20 years) to see how much his grandfather was hurting. Pops eventually read him an excerpt of a letter he’d found among his son’s things asking him to tell Seeley that he loved him and that he knows he deserved a better father — one like he’d had. Booth’s dad thanked Pops for raising Seeley to be the man he could never be. He’d left Booth a box, which Brennan finally got him to open because, she said, she wanted to talk about it, and while they’re sharing their lives, he can’t shut her out.
When Brennan had asked Angela earlier in the episode what she should do to help Booth, Angela had told her, ”You have to figure out what you can give him that nobody else can.” It turned out that was a reminder that Booth did have some good memories of his father, including their one perfect day in those blue seats at the World Series, and the knowledge that quantum physicists have a theory about how we experience that time that says he deserves to keep them alive. Booth opened the box and found his father’s most precious mementos: his purple heart, a Father’s Day card young Seeley had made him, photos of them together, and their 1980 World Series ticket stubs with a picture of them in the stands. Was there a dry eye in your house? We talked to Bones creator Hart Hanson about the scene. ...

So excited for tonight’s return of BONES. Even more excited for what’s rumored to be an Emmy-worthy episode for David Boreanaz. Anything you care to tease? — Nancy
The TV Addict: As much as I’d love to be able to tease the heartbreaking circumstances that come crashing down on Booth in tonight’s episode that afford David Boreanaz an opportunity to deliver one of his most emotionally impactful performances to date, we’re afraid that to do so would pretty much spoil the episode’s most shocking moment. Cue obligatory ambiguous tease that goes a little something like so: This time, it’s personal.
With all the buzz surrounding Booth, I’m curious if there is anything for us Brennan fans in tonight’s episode of BONES? — Jenn
The TV Addict: Oddly enough, tonight’s episode does an excellent job of highlighting a handful of positives as a result of Brennan’s decreased workload due to Emily Deschanel’s real-life pregnancy. One of which has to do with a hilarious anatomy lesson that Brennan gives Squintern Clark, while another is the return of the always welcome Tina Majorino as Booth’s sidekick Agent Shaw.
