I was the first to tell you that Bones, in Season 6, will be introducing its third recurring serial killer (after Gormogon and Gravedigger). Now I have exciting new details to share about this baddie. He'll be a sniper — just like Booth was before he teamed up with Brennan!

Michaela Cast in McConaughey Film
Michaela Conlin ("Bones") has joined the Matthew McConaughey legal thriller "The Lincoln Lawyer," based on Michael Connelly's best-selling tome about a defense attorney who works out of the back of his Lincoln Continental.

BONES Exclusive: Emily Deschanel Reveals When She’s Making Her Directorial Debut
During the BONES panel at Comic-Con in 2009, series star Emily Deschanel revealed that she really wanted the chance to direct an episode of the show — but creator Hart Hanson was wary of the idea, since Deschanel already works crazy hours.
It seems, however, that her persistence has paid off.
Deschanel tells GIVE ME MY REMOTE that she will be directing a BONES ep this year.
“I broke them down,” Deschanel explains in the video below. “I kept asking and asking and knocking on their doors and asking and shaming and everything, so I am going to direct this season.”

Nothing like meeting two of the nicest and gorgeous actors from the hit FOX series Bones. I was working the press room and got some face time with show creator Hart Hanson (video @ FutonCritic.com) as well as Emily and David, who came down the line together. Their chemistry and obvious like for each other was clearly evident as you watch them answering questions graciously (video of their chat with me right here). Here are a few photos I took just as they were coming into the room. Is it possible they are prettier in person? Yes, my friends, it is definitely possible!

My exclusive interview with Bones‘ David Boreneaz and Emily Deschanel at Comic-Con took place mere hours after the duo shot the highly-anticipated moment in the season 6 premiere where Booth and Brennan come face-to-face after almost a year apart. Suffice it to say we had lots to discuss. The pair also weighed in on that controversial airport scene in May’s finale, the new girl in Booth’s life, and whether or not this is the season B and B stop being polite and start having sex. If you’re a BONES fan, you may have noticed that new rumors about season 6 have been popping up every other day.

Bones Season 5 DVD Release Date & Info
Several weeks ago we reported that Amazon was taking advance orders for Bones - Season 5 on both standard DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc formats. At the time a street date wasn't available, because Fox Home Entertainment had not formally scheduled the title yet. Today, however, the studio told retailers to expect the release to ship in both versions on October 5th.
Running 997 minutes long, the DVD release comes on 6 discs at $59.98 SRP in the USA and CA$89.98 SRP in Canada. Video is widescreen, audio is in English 5.1 Dolby Digital, and subtitles are on board in English, French and Spanish. The Blu-ray version comes on 4 discs at $69.99 SRP in the USA, and CA$89.99 SRP in Canada. It sports high-definition widescreen video, English 5.1 Dolby Digital audio and subtitles in English, French and Spanish.
Bonus material on both versions includes Episode Commentaries: one will be found on "The Proof in the Pudding" with Tamara Taylor, TJ Thyne, John Francis Daley and Michael(a) Conlin; another will be found on "The Beginning in the End" with Hart Hanson, Stephen Nathan and Ian Toynton. There are Extended Versions of the episodes "The Tough Man in the Tender Chicken" and "The X in the Files". There's also a Gag Reel, and Featurettes like "David Boreanaz: Directing the 100th Episode" and "The Nunchuck Way". The DVD list of contents mentions a Featurette titled "House of 100 Corpses", while the Blu-ray list mentions a Featurette titled "The Bodies of Bones"; we suspect these are the same item waiting on a final decision on which title will be used. The Blu-ray Disc release also includes Deleted Scenes, which isn't mentioned on the DVD contents.

To quote them exactly, we were told, "the 100 Corpses should be a featurette on the 100th episode. 'The Bodies of Bones' is a separate featurette." We appreciate the clarification!
