Holy freaking crap, you guys. Now you all know that I am like one of the biggest Bones
fans around and that every time there is a new premiere or finale I
claim it’s the best episode ever – but it’s legit this time. “The Future
in the Past” is the best episode Hart Hanson and his fantastic team has
ever put together, in my humble opinion. That being said, I also have
to throw this out there: Hart Hanson you evil rat bastard. If you all
haven’t caught on by now, I have had the extreme privilege to catch a
sneak peek at the season 8 premiere of Bones (best early
birthday present ever!). As ever, I can’t give away any major plot
points, but I can throw you a little bone (haha, get it?!).
When we last left Booth (David Boreanaz), Brennan (Emily Deschanel)
and the crew at the Jeffersonian in May Brennan was on the lamb, accused
of murder, with only her father Max (guest star Ryan O’Neal) and baby
Christine for company. Flash forward three months, Brennan is still
hiding out because the FBI, led by supreme douchebag of the year Special
Agent Hayes Flynn (Reed Diamond) still think she murdered an old
colleague. Thankfully everyone at the Jeffersonian hasn’t smoked a lot
of crack and is still hard at work proving that evil techie genius
Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds) is framing Bren.
Here’s the rundown for the premiere
