In the interim, “Arastoo is the main intern who has taken over,” says
new showrunner Michael Peterson. “He’s really filled in for Brennan in
her absence. Eventually Brennan will come back, but what that means for
Cam and Arastoo is very interesting.”

Bones Boss Teases Five Major Developments Ahead This Season
Things got a little misty on Bones' spring premiere
Thursday night as Booth (David Boreanaz), Brennan (Emily Deschanel), and
company were once again forced to face the grim reality of Sweets'
death. That painful reminder sets a lot in motion, emotionally, for the
remainder of the season: "Everything we dealt with in the first half of
the year comes to roost," executive producer Stephen Nathan says. Nathan

Season 10 is set to premiere on March 26, 2015. Looking forward for new
episodes this year, the FOX series teases about Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) being pregnant, Angela's undercover adventure while Cam's man, Arastoo will be taken as a political detainee in Iran.

might want to keep those expectations in check. Although the subject of
a marriage between Cam and Arastoo comes up again in the Nov.
6 episode, one member of the couple isn't exactly ready for a new level
of commitment. Worse, that fight spills into the Jeffersonian when
Arastoo's dissertation proposal is rejected by Dr. Brennan and Cam tries
to change Brennan's mind. Unfortunately for Cam, she'll quickly learn
that opening her mouth has only made things worse between her and
Arastoo.

Although springing Booth from the pokey will take up most of the oxygen in the room in the premiere, executive producer Stephen Nathan is looking forward to introducing a new character in the FBI (played by 24's John Boyd) to challenge Booth on the outside. "He will alter how Booth does his job, and Booth and Sweets will confront him," Nathan teases. Elsewhere, look for lovebirds Cam and Arastoo, who last season met Arastoo's parents, to check off some new milestones. "They will hit those challenges that every relationship hits as they get closer and closer," Nathan says. Hmm, could this be related to all the baby talk coming out of Comic-Con?

Bones: Is There Another Wedding on the Way?
Booth and Brennan finally tied the knot on Bones' ninth season, but could another wedding be in the offing?
On Monday's episode (8/7c, Fox), Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Arastoo (Pej Vahdat) take their relationship to a new level when Arastoo arranges for Cam to meet his parents. Unfortunately for Cam, who has serious reservations about the dinner meeting, all of her worst fears come true when she sits down with Arastoo's extremely protective mother (guest star Shohreh Aghdashloo).
"I loved the portrayal of this overprotective Iranian mother, whom I'm very familiar with," Aghdashloo tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. "When I started talking to the director, I said, 'I know this woman inside out because I know Shohreh!' I was raised with an [overprotective mother] and I am one."...

Question: Now that we know NCIS will address the loss of Ralph Waite’s character, what’s the latest on Bones‘ plans to honor the late actor? —Jaime
Ausiello: As I hinted at in last week’s AA, there will be a tribute card at the end of the March 10 episode — the show’s first original outing since Waite’s passing. As far as it being addressed on-screen, I’m told the episodes for the remainder of the season have been broken, so any memorial to Hank will have to wait until Season 10.

Ausiello: Cam’s gonna meet the parents! The show is casting Arastoo’s very traditional, possibly judgmental mother and father, who are very eager to meet their prospective future daughter-in-law.
