'Bones': Will we see a marriage proposal this season? Should we?

At the beginning of Season 8, "Bones" established that Booth (David Boreanaz) would not as Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to marry him. She would have to ask him instead.

That works. But now, as we near the end of the season, is it time for Brennan to pop the question? Should she? What could possibly encourage this eminently rational person to suddenly change her belief that marriage serves no purpose?...
