"There's definitely some jealousy there," Deschanel said. "I think it breaks her heart a little bit. She's not even maybe aware of it on an intellectual level. Her emotions are kind of suppressed in a lot of ways so she kind of feels emotion on the inside but doesn't really know what's going on."
