Bones Preview: What’s best for Hodgins?

It’s been awhile for Bones fans since that emotionally taxing midseason finale that saw Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) injured in a horrific blast that left him paralyzed. The crime procedural finally returns with new episodes this week with “The Death in the Defense.” In the episode Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) investigating the death of a public defender who had multiple defendants from previous cases with motives to kill her.
We were lucky here at The TV Junkies to screen the spring premiere in advance, and are offering up a few hints below as to what fans can expect to see. Take a look at what’s to come and let us know what you want to see from the second half of Bones’ 11th season...

'Bones' Episode 11.12 Teasers: Brennan Gets Physical and the Real Hero

Bones is back with its second spring episode, "The Murder of the Meninist." Never one to shy away from portraying social injustices, Bones cleverly presents an absurd caricature of one fascist group in order to subtly take a stand about the tragic reality of another injustice, one much more prevalent and, sadly, more venomous. Can you guess what it is? If you are like me, the deeper meaning will hit you on the head about 24 hours after you watch the episode. 

Surprisingly, included in the rhetoric of injustice are a number of valid points that some American sectors would prefer to believe aren't even issues anymore. You may be surprised at who you agree with -- maybe not in the entirety of their message, but there are valid points presented here.  While all of this is going on, we've still got Hodgins struggling through life in a wheelchair, but that's a whole other kettle of fish....

Bones Preview: 7 Things to Know About ‘The Murder of the Meninist’ (Plus Photos!)

As Hodgins continues to adjust to life in a wheelchair, Brennan faces a whole other kind of battle on Bones Season 11 Episode 12, “The Murder of the Meninist.”
Spoilers ahead!
Episode description: The team investigates a body found in a car crash, and the remains belong to a founder of a men’s rights organization who may have been the victim of domestic abuse. As Brennan learns more about the tenets of the victim’s organization, which claims middle-aged white men are oppressed and feminists are man-haters, Brennan uncharacteristically loses her cool during an interrogation and assaults the organization’s co-founder. Meanwhile, Angela (Michaela Conlin) and the team struggle to deal with Hodgins’ post-wheelchair bitterness and Booth is convinced Brennan is a jinx for the Philadelphia Flyers...
