Last week’s Bones was a lot of fun, as I’d guessed it would be. It was fun to see Aubrey trying to be harsh on Hodgins, but even that was half-assed, and Booth stuck up well for him, knowing he wouldn’t have killed the woman, even though he didn’t like her. The funniest—and sweetest and best—part to me, I think, was the very end, when Brennan finally got to give her speech, and she opened with the joke that Booth was sure was going to fall flat. Instead, it went over like gangbusters—which wasn’t surprising, given the science crowd…—and the joke Booth thought was funny—which I LOVED. LOL—died a slow, awkward death as he was the only one clapping. It was great. And yay! Wendell’s doing okay. He’s in remission and off the marijuana, which meant he could come back to work, although he’s worried because a friend of his from the drug trial died suddenly after having been well for a while. I’ll just have to keep my fingers crossed that Wendell doesn’t follow in his footsteps.
