Star of TV’s “Bones” Adds Star Power to Five Acres’ Message of Hope

Actress Emily Deschanel of TV’s “Bones” was joined by Matthew Lillard of FX’s “The Bridge,” the Tournament of Roses Queen and her Court and the real stars, the children of Five Acres, at the organization’s Annual Holiday Open House last night at the Altadena campus, which was transformed into a winter wonderland.
The night’s emcee was Five Acre’s CEO, Chanel Boutakidis, who shined in a splendid red dress and kept the night’s activities moving at a brisk and funny pace.
