Digital Spy (and a few other eager journalists) caught up with series star Boreanaz at this year's Comic-Con to talk about season eight, how Booth will react to being abandoned by the love of his life and whether he's really planning on leaving Bones behind any time soon.
What's coming up for Booth in season eight of Bones?
"Well obviously I think he'll be interrogated by the Bureau, and he'll have to answer some questions that they think he may know [the answers to] - where Brennan may be. So I think for him it will be a very emotional time - he'll be distraught, probably some depression.
"There'll be a self-examination of his character and why [Brennan] would do this. I think there's a part of him that understands and another part that's a little bit upset about it. We'll see how that unfolds - there might just become a time where he has to let the system do its thing, but he also might have to go out and find her himself." ...
