TéléStar : you are the mother since 6 months of a little Henry. what suprises you the most in this new role?
Emily Deschanel : I was warned about so many things. I knew that the first weeks will be a little hard but at the end, it wouldn’t count, because the enjoyment of having a child exceeds all the rest. On the other hand, I confide a more emotional person than I thought. I’m less relaxed, less careless.
TS : how that?
ED: I’m always afraid that something could happen to him. I dramatize too much each situation
TS: What features of his personality already touche you?
ED : he is a formidable little boy, sensitive and very open to the others. he is playing with me, laughing in my arms. those moments are really magical.
TS : Brennan, your character in the TV show Bones, also gives birth in the next season (note: the 7th season hasn’t been aired in France yet.) what is it going to change in her relation with Booth (David Boreanaz)?
ED : everything is going to go very fast between them. they will have to adapt themselves to this little girl. they have different point of view, Brennan is already talking about the baby as if she was an adult, and Booth wants her baptized. So many subjects of discord.
TS: the fact that they are together,doesn’t it risk to make the viewers become disenchanted?
ED : I think that it was time we pass to a superior level., because the viewers would have eventually grow tired. it’s a new chapter which begins, and the dynamic is different.
TS: Are we going to see the little Henry next to you on screen?
ED : No, because in the serie, my baby is a little girl, and I don’t want to give him false marks.
