According to MovieHole.com, actor David Boreanaz (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Bones) is interesting in auditioning for the lead role of Superman in Zack Snyder's upcoming reboot.
Boreanaz originally auditioned for the role in 2005 for Bryan Singer's "Superman Returns" but obviously didn't get the part with the role going to actor Brandon Routh instead...
