A budget-conscious set that looks like a million dollars
For the hit Fox television show Bones, now in its sixth season, production designer Michael Mayer and set decorator Kim Wannop have created some of the most visually stunning living spaces to be seen on the small screen.
Set in Washington, D.C., but shot in Los Angeles, the show follows the crime-solving adventures of world-famous forensic anthropologist and mystery writer Dr. Temperance Brennan (played by Emily Deschanel) and her partner, FBI special agent Seeley Booth (played by David Boreanaz). To create Brennan’s home, Mayer and Wannop turned to Asia for a look that is sophisticated, elegant, and serene.
