WHEN A FEMALE SCI-FI ENTHUSIAST IS FOUND MURDERED, THE TEAM INVESTIGATES A FANTASY CONVENTION GONE WRONG ON "BONES" THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, ON FOX
When a group of eighth-graders find the decomposed body of woman wearing a medieval princess dress, the team is on the scene to investigate. With Booth incapacitated due to a back injury, Agent Payton Perotta (guest star Marisa Coughlin) steps in to help with the investigation. Brennan and the team must navigate through the outlandish landscape of ImagiCon in order to track down the killer. They soon find the victim may have owned a highly valuable piece of sci-fi memorabilia that many would kill to possess in "The Princess and the Pear" episode of BONES airing Thursday, Feb. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Bones to Air 26 Episodes for Season 4
Laura, a fellow Bones lover & Bones Spoilers Blog reader just got an email back (they totally ignored my email, wtf?) from AskFox and they confirmed that we'll be getting TWENTY-SIX episodes this season! How awesome is that??? Season 2 got 22 episodes and Season 1 got 21 episodes. It sounds like they appended the 20 they signed on for to the 6 that never got a chance to air in Season 3, but aired at the beginning of this season. So, there you go! We get 26 episodes! And as of Mayhem on the Cross, that makes for 20 episodes. We get six more sides before we have the finale episode released. *cry*

Will "Mayhem" Help Sweets' Conundrum?
One of my lovely readers actually brought this memory to light, so I searched for the article and here is the quote from Hart Hanson's interview:
"We’re not done with Zack," Hanson promises. "Zack is a fun character. We left a big hanging chad with Sweets, that Sweets knows that Zack didn't do what he is thought to have done. He has a problem, an ethical problem on how to deal with that and we will deal with that. That's an ideal episode in which to have Millegan come back again; Eric Millegan come back and play Zack again. I think it's okay for me to say that I'm looking into Stephen Fry's availability because I think he would be the ideal person to help Sweets figure out how to deal with that. But, Zack is still in our minds. His name is hanging up there on the boards in the writer's room as to what cases he would be useful in, that he could organically fit into."
I think we may get a bit of a resolution as far as Sweets/Zack goes. That will be nice! I think it's about time we wrap up the Zack story.

Mayhem on the Cross (New Episode, Sides TBA!)
A casting call has gone out for a new episode - Mayhem on the Cross.
Characters include Dr. Wyatt (!), Pinworm, Grinder, Murderbreath, Serena, Dr. Solberg, Mayhem, and Wrath. It sounds pretty interesting!
Full character descriptions here: http://spoilertv.blogspot.com/2009/01/bones-episode-mayhem-on-cross-casting.html (I've pasted them below if the link doesn't work.)
I'm so excited that Dr. Wyatt is back!!!! Yahoooooooo!
[PINWORM] Male, 19-23, edgy, dark, ANY ETHNICITY. He is the lead guitarist for the Black Metal band, SPEW. This is a man who wants to be seen by his adoring fans as a Black Metal God, a man who would do - or say he's done - anything to win their respect. PINWORM even lays claim to the murder of fellow band mate, Mayhem (aka Justin Dancy), assuming that though it makes him legendary, no officer of the law would ever think he was truly guilty...GUEST STAR.
[GRINDER (AKA DANIEL MOSS)] Male, 19-23, sweet face, innocent looking, ANY ETHNICITY. He is the bassist for the Black metal band, SPEW. On stage he is a hard core, frightening-looking rocker, but when the makeup and costumes are gone he couldn't be any less intimidating. GRINDER replaced his childhood friend, Mayhem (aka Justin Dancy) on bass after his disappearance and like all the other members of the band he seems to claim responsibility for Mayhem's death. Dr. Sweets (John Francis Daly) and Dr. Wyatt (Stephen Fry) see beneath his on-stage persona and get him to give up information that could lead to the killer's true identity...GUEST STAR.
[MURDERBREATH] Male, 19-23, VERY short in stature, diminutive, ANY ETHNICITY. MURDERBREATH is the lead singer of a Deathcore band called "Zorch." He cuts his own throat during one of his band's shows for the theatricality of it - he wants to be legendary to his fans. MURDERBREATH Tells Booth and Brennan that he didn't kill rival band SPEW's old bassist, Mayhem, but that a kid told him where he could dig up Mayhem's corpse. He admits to finding the corpse, mutilating it and hanging it on his stage as a prop...GUEST STAR.
[SERENA] Female, 19-23, pretty, sweet-looking but with an edge, think Cat Power or Hayley Williams, ANY ETHNICITY. Once into the Black Metal music scene, SERENA has moved on to a band that plays more mainstream music. She explains to Booth that she and SPEW's ex-bassist Mayhem broke up when she left the scene to go into lighter fare, but that he had called her six months ago and begged to play in her band. Though she desperately tries to play it cool and jaded for Booth, SERENA melts and is truly devastated when she learns of Mayhem's murder.sptv050769..GUEST STAR.
[DR. SOLBERG] Female, late-20s to early-30s, NORWEGIAN, MUST SPEAK NORWEGIAN. She is a Norwegian pathologist who has been called in by her country's Delta force to determine whether or not a skeleton being used on stage as a prop at a concert by the Death Metal band Dod are truly that of a murdered human. Dr. Solberg is Norway's answer to our Dr. Brennan (Emily Deschanel)...ONE-DAY GUEST STAR.
[DELTA UNIT COMMANDER] Male, late 20s to mid-30s, tough, NORWEGIAN, MUST SPEAK NORWEGIAN. He is the Norwegian Delta Unit Commander brought in by his country to aid in DR. SOLBERG'S investigation of a skeleton being used on stage as a prop by the Death Metal band Dod. He doesn't mind cracking a few skulls to get the answers he needs...ONE-DAY GUEST STAR.
[MAYHEM] Male, 19-23, tall, bigger, husky, like a giant teddy bear, ANY ETHNICITY. MAYHEM is the former bassist for the Black Metal band SPEW. When his mutilated skeleton is found in Norway being used as a prop by the Death Metal band Dod, it launches an investigation into his mysterious demise...CO-STAR.
[WRATH] Male, 19-23, tall, intimidating, like a grizzly bear, ANY ETHNICITY. WRATH is the very large, very angry and intimidating drummer in the Black Metal band SPEW...CO-STAR

More from Kristin
Q :Melanie in Manhattan, N.Y.: Hey, you said in your show that Cam from Bones gets a child. Is that true? Do you have any more details?
A: Tamara Taylor wouldn't say if it was a boy or a girl, but did tell me that the child would be in "the awkward years." Also, since Emily Deschanel told me Booth and Bones would be in bed together, I had to dig a little deeper. Turns out, it could be a trick! Taylor says, "They've been toying around with interesting ideas about alternate realities, where perhaps they're married, where we're all in interesting, different roles. So we may get to see it, but it may not be real."

Spoilers from TJ Thyne
TJ has submitted a few spoilers on his website, tjthyne.com and here they are (take them how you might):
1) In Season II, someone came into Jack's life. That individual affected him greatly, and is coming back. Soon. So that may have a bearing on J/A.
2) Apparently Jack is going to be written (finally) reacting against the way Angela is treating him. .
3) This is just general, but is a bit of a shocker; Someone in the Lab is going to need the rest of the team to step up in order to keep them alive!
--Just my assumptions, like I said, you can take them how you wish: Hodgela won't last, even after Cinderella. HH already said that it wouldn't be easy for them. So who is this person from Season II? Clarissa, perhaps? His ex-fiance? Hmmm...
Sounds good that Jack will get some balls and tell Angela that she treats him like crap sometimes.
And that third spoiler sounds an awful lot like The Hero in the Hold. Booth needing the rest of the team to step up and help him out!
Edit: digapony brought up a good point. The person that will come back in Hodgins' life sounds a lot more like The Gravedigger. From the Hero in the Hold sides, it sounded like Jack was deeply and negatively affected by his buried alive experience. I wonder how this will effect Hodgela?

Parade Magazine Article With Emily Deschanel
Here's a link to the article.
Any scoop? “Booth and I are going to end up in bed this year,” Emily told me. “I have no idea how I’m going to handle that! Brennan will ask Booth to be the father of her child even though she always says, ‘I don’t want children.’ So that’s official.”
Oh... and her grandfather lives in Oregon. Which makes me happy... considering I'm an Oregonian... or was.

2 TV Guide Interviews
TV Guide's Matt Mitovich interviewed both David Boreanaz & the creators of Bones.
CLICK HERE, they're located to the right of the screen along with the spoiler clips from earlier. This is fun.... especially when the Bones creators talk. They talk about a few episodes and the naked in bed bit, too. Oh, they love to hang that over our noses... like a steak in front of a starving dog! They say that the bed scene "is much less a cheat than the kiss." What does that mean? I hope that it's NOT A CHEAT AT ALL. I don't mind if they don't have sex... I'd just like to see them admit something... that they recognize the tension in some way.
They also talk about Zooey... will they bring her onto the show? That would rock. I know quite a few fans would love that!
David talks about his directing debut with The Bones that Foam. He's always enjoyable to watch.

Fox Schedule: Double Trouble & Fire in the Ice to Air 1/22
According to the Fox website schedule of events, Double Trouble in the Panhandle AND Fire in the Ice are set to air back to back on January 22nd. So, the good thing is: We get to keep the storyline (most notably the Perotta storyline) in order. Bad thing: We have to wait another week for the Gravedigger to return (Assuming they air Hero on the 29th.)

Ausiello Interviews Emily Deschanel
There's mention of the "naked in bed" comment from Hanson, Brennan saving Booth in Hero in the Hold, & Double Trouble in the Panhandle. It's a great interview. :D

David Boreanaz Interview, Mentions Spoilers
David Boreanaz Fox TCA 2009 Ausiello Interview!
*David talks about directing his first episode of Bones, mentions Emily.
*David discusses the BIG spoiler that Hanson talked about. I haven't watched it yet, but I assume that they're talking about the "naked, in bed" comment that Hanson mentioned months ago... or the fantasy episode. I'm not sure. I can't watch it now, but I wanted everyone to have the link ASAP.
EDIT: Yup, he's talking about the Nekkid episode and IT'S THE LAST EPISODE OF SEASON FOUR just as I thought... and now I'm really happy! I think all of us shippers are. Bless you, Hart, for fluffing this shipper's heart!

Another Bones Spoiler Clip!!!
So Sweets was Adopted, huh? Good to give him a bit of a back story!
-------
Apparently, if you're not in the USA, then you won't be able to view it. Someone already summed it up here:
Brennan & Booth are talking to Sweets about carnies. Sweets talks about how he wanted to find his birth mother once he reached the age of majority. He says no one would talk to him since he was wearing a suit and they won't talk to Brennan & Booth either. Brennan talks about her cultural anthropology dissertation where she studies the carnival for 6 weeks & no one would tell her anything. Booth (with a devilish glint to his eye) says fine, we are going to go under cover. Brennan says they'll need an act & she's quite adept at the high wire. Booth says no, we'll have a knife throwing act, he had the best knife throwing skills in the Rangers.
Are we going to join the circus?
We....are going to join the circus

New Vegan Character
News from TV Guide ...
Partying after the Golden Globes -
David Boreanaz and Dave Annable, shouted their conversation near the dance floor, as a live band played an onslaught of cover hits. Meanwhile, Boreanaz's Bones co-star Emily Deschanel
explained that was thrilled to be bridesmaid in her recently engaged
sister Zooey's upcoming wedding. She's less thrilled about a zoo-themed
episode of Bones coming up. It involves someone getting eaten
by a tiger, and goes against the animal rights activist's intense
hatred of zoos. "I'm particularly disappointed that there's going to be
an elephant," said Deschanel. On the plus side, she added, she got the
show to introduce a new character that, like herself, will be a vegan.
_____________
I assume that since they're talking about The Doctor in the Den, that the Vegan character introduced is Michelle. That's awesome because that means that Michelle is going to (if I'm right, of course) be a recurring character! And I couldn't be happier because I really love Cam!!! She needs a storyline and this will be perfect for her (and for the story as a whole!)
I just had a thought--a little late, I know. But there's that new intern that's being introduced who is named Ayman Aziz (The Salt in the Wound) who may be the Vegan Character she's referring to.
ETA: It's Clark. =)

Chat & News
If you CLICK HERE you can ask David and/or Emily a question about Bones. I'm pretty sure that they only will ask Bones related questions (no questions concerning their personal lives). There's a FOX Press Junket coming up. I'm not quite sure when. I'm trying to look that up, so I'm assuming when that will be, so you can go and participate in the interviews! How fun! Believe you me, I already asked a few! ;)
And hello to my new followers. I see I have four or five. That's awesome!!!
FOUR MORE DAYS UNTIL BONES PREMIERES! There's a New Night & Time. Double Trouble in the Panhandle will kick off the new year Thursday, January 15th 8/7c on FOX! I'm so excited! I hope you are, too!
I know some of this was repeat, but I'm not sure when I posted that. I'm kind of a scatter brain today. We just moved into a new house! :D

New Sides Out Somewhere!!!
There are sides out on the internet somewhere... probably on one of those sites that I don't have an account with (you have to pay) but the title supposedly is, "The Science in the Physicist." Apparently Vincent Nigel-Murray is in there (Not Clark... wah)... and there isn't much B/B interaction on the sides. It seems very case-centered. I'll be keeping an eye out for you! :D

Awfully Quiet...
Who else here is dying for more spoilers!? Hasn't it been quiet around here for quite some time (A suspicious amount of time, if you ask me...) What if there is another script out there, but the script is being held hostage--quiet hostage-- so we can't see the storyline? What if the Gravedigger isn't found (Hero in the Hold sides)? What if this is the continuation of THAT storyline? And they won't have to recast the parts in the b/c it's a continuation so we don't know that there's another episode out there!? I'm totally freaking.... But it's kind of cool that there's stuff we don't know!!! hahahahhahahehehehehehehhee *maniacal laughter*
On another front, it looks like David & Emily (see previous post) will be chatting on the FOX Press Junket, so there'll be a bit to post after that--of course, I have no idea when that junket will be.
And I'm still waiting for that email reply on the air date for Bones, so stay tuned. (I resent the email, so perhaps I'll annoy answers out of Fox!)

New Commercial
B/C I have no idea how to upload the dang video... I took the time:
I just saw ANOTHER new commercial on the rerun of Yanks in the UK part 1.
It had the song "Bust a Move" by MC Hammer in the back ground.
It went something like this:
"Bust it!" Then...Drums at the beginning of the song:
Booth slaps Brennan's a$$ (Woman in the Sand) on the word "Bust"
Brennan kisses Booth's cheek (Knight on the Grid)
Brennan looks at Booth and smiles (The Bone that Blew) (Drums/guitar bit)
Then, Booth & Brennan dancing with the skeletons.. Announcer: "Guess who's Bustin' in?"... "To Thursday Nights"
Sweets: "Am I picking up some sexual tension?" (Fire in the Ice, epi yet to air)
Brennan leans back in her chair in the interrogation room, arms crossed. (Knight in the Grid)
Booth (different shot, NOT to Sweets' question, to Perotta who isn't in the shot) and grinning slightly: "Bones and I are just partners."
Music: "And Bust a move"
Booth sinks in his chair. (Crank in the Shaft)
More dancing with skeletons.
Music: You want it, baby you've got it.
Brennan slaps a suspect. (Mummy in the Maze)
B/B clink wine glasses. (Passenger in the Oven)
Brennan: Should I try to shoot him? (Aiming her gun, Con Man)
Booth: No, Bones. (same scene)
More Dancing. Screen says in yellow lettering: New Episodes
Booth: We'll go under cover. (Double Trouble in the Panhandle)
Dancing w/Skeletons Screen w/ yellow lettering: New Cases
Brennan: Are we going under cover? (Double Trouble)
Booth twirls his knife along with the drum beat of the song. (Double Trouble)
Dancing with skeletons. Lettering: New Night
Booth throws a knife, hits a rubber apple above Brennan's head, pops. (Double Trouble)
Booth: I could've killed you! (Double Trouble)
Brennan: Therin lies the excitement! (same scene, Brennan's lines are cut here, just FYI. She says, "Therein lies the excitement for the spectators!")
Announcer: All new Bones, January Fifteenth on Fox! (picture of B/B hugging with January 15th on FOX in the background.
Here's the older commercial:
