Hey, everybody. I'm retiring my blog effective immediately. What that means is that I'll no longer be blogging. That also means that I'm still a big fan of Bones. It's been a big part of my life for so long... I can hardly remember. I think I started blogging in Season 4...? Later? Maybe season 6. Well, I started watching in season 4. See? A long time. Along the way, I've met so many wonderful people from around the world. It's amazing how small the world can seem when it comes to being involved with a fandom. Now it seems that everyone is a fangirl or boy of something! I think we were the originals. ;) Or the beginning of something special, anyway. I've never regretted being a part of the Bones fan culture. It's just time for me to move on now. I'm hardly able to keep up any more and I'm afraid the blog will become a desert if I don't call it now. Thank you, friends. Thank you, fans. Keep watching the new and final season. Can you believe Bones has made it this far? It's pretty amazing. I'm proud of this show. I'm proud of the writers, cast, crew, leadership and FANS. As the show heads into its final season, I'm certain it's going to warm hearts and blow some minds. Hey, Bones, thank you for some great memories. Thanks for a million and one relaxing evenings on the sofa. Thanks for my love-handles... haha! Thanks for imagination and passion. Thanks for encouraging people in pursuing everything from writing to the sciences to working in the TV industry. That's a pretty cool achievement in and of itself.

Even though we do still have a few more stories to go until we get
around to the end of “Bones” season 11, we do like to think that it is
never too early to start thinking about the end. This is especially true
when you are dealing with a show like this one, which has such a robust
history and list of characters who have turned up at one point or

The news of Bones being renewed for its twelfth and final season was bittersweet, but creator Hart Hanson has nothing but gratitude.
I recently sat down with Hanson at the ATX Television Festival to chat about the end of Bones, his favorite squinterns, and The Finder.

Matt Roush: 245, if I’m doing the math right, is nothing to sneeze at. Neither is 12 seasons, even if the last is only half a season. While the network and studio insist the various lawsuits (over profits) had nothing to do with considerations for Bones’ renewal, this situation reads to me like a way to give the show, and its fans, some necessary closure while drawing the curtain on an operation that had become prohibitively costly and problematic to keep in perpetual production. This still appears to be going out more smoothly than Castle did.

'Bones' EP teases what's next for Hodgins, Booth and Brennan, S12 and more
"Bones"
finally returns this week after a much too long hiatus. On Tuesday,
April 12, executive producer/co-showrunner Michael Peterson spoke with
reporters about what's coming up with Hodgins' paralysis, the newest
serial killer and the team's relationships – and even gave a few teases
for season 12.
When "Bones" season 11 left off, Hodgins was paralyzed following an explosion at a crime scene. When they talked to TJ Thyne about it, "he could not have been more excited to really stretch his legs as an actor by not using his legs," the EP shared, going on to say that they didn't want this to be something that was "very quick and done." Instead, they "wanted to make sure it affected everybody" and you'll see how everyone reacts. For example, "Booth is much more about the hope and Brennan is looking strictly at the science of the situation, which is not so hopeful."...
