Why wasn’t there a renewal for “Bones”
announced today at Fox’s winter TCA panel? We got a chance to see such
an honor handed down to such other shows as “Empire” and “Gotham,” but not this particular long-running show.
As
it turns out, there is a very sensible answer to it: There are still
some contract negotiations that need to be completed first! Emily
Deschanel and David Boreneaz are still in talks over returning to the
show for another go of things, but there is no confirmation yet. Given
Fox’s confidence that a deal with get done, they may wait to announce a
renewal until they know for sure that everyone is on board the series...
