Sorry to break it to everyone, but yes, there is another hiatus yet to come. It starts after episode #98, The Devil in the Details (S5E14) which airs on February 4th. Bones then returns again on April 1st with episode #99, The Bones on the Blue Line (S5E15) which should air April 1. Ausiello previously reported that the 100th episode will air on April 8th, so I'm basing this all off from that and this Futon Critic post. Things may change, but I'd put my money on this schedule for the time being. Any changes will be posted on this blog as well as @bones_schedule on Twitter. I'll try to keep an eye on everything.
98 = The Devil in the Details - February 4
- HIATUS -
99 = The Bones on the Blue Line - most likely April 1
100 = The Parts in the Sum of the Whole - April 8
Why another hiatus? Bones fans have always been frustrated by constant interruptions to their schedules. This year we're lucky that we've actually stayed on the same night and time two seasons in a row (sometimes they even mess with the scheduling after the Christmas break, so you get two different nights and times in one season). Mostly the reason for the hiatus in the spring (winter hiatus) is because of American Idol and its crazy, wonky schedule. Last year we also got a lot of presidential speeches which bumped times a lot. So, stay tuned and try not to throw anything at your TV set. Also, this year the Winter Olympics will be airing on Fox and there will be a 2 hour premiere of a new Fox show. Don't worry: Bones will return... eventually.
