"BONES" CELEBRATES MILESTONE 100TH EPISODE THURSDAY, APRIL 8, ON FOX
Episode Directed by Series Star David Boreanaz
Over the course of five seasons, the partnership between DR. TEMPERANCE BRENNAN (Emily Deschanel) and FBI SPECIAL AGENT SEELEY BOOTH (David Boreanaz) has evolved from strictly professional into an unlikely and perhaps romantic pairing. The formidable duo's dynamic and unusual history is examined in the milestone 100th episode of BONES airing Thursday, April 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
"The Parts in the Sum of the Whole," directed by Boreanaz, recounts the first time Brennan and Booth worked together on a case. This look back at their beginnings has a profound effect on them and may change their feelings for each other forever. The episode also provides a glimpse at the other Jeffersonian team members to see how their relationships began and the influence they have had on each other's lives.
"I'm so proud to stand by each and every cast and crew member on this momentous achievement of our 100th episode," said Boreanaz. "All the blood, sweat and tears has brought us to this moment. With each step we became a family, and with each step further I take on directing this episode as a friend. To 100! Salute!"
"All of us at BONES are keenly aware of how rare and exciting it is for a television drama to make it to the 100th episode mark," said BONES executive producer Hart Hanson. "For this to happen, a lot of elements have to come together in an organic way the most important being cast and audience. BONES is fortunate to have the best of both."
Throughout BONES' 100 episodes, Brennan and Booth's "will they or won't they?" connection has excited a loyal fan base and has generated much discussion as to what direction their relationship should take. In addition, the Jeffersonian team has explored and uncovered incredibly bizarre causes of death in their investigations, and the series has served up some of the most gruesome cases ever on television.
A darkly amusing procedural with humor, heart and character, BONES focuses on a highly skilled forensic anthropologist whose special expertise lies in her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the bones of murder victims. The series also stars TJ Thyne, Michaela Conlin, Tamara Taylor and John Francis Daley.
BONES is from Far Field Productions and Josephson Entertainment in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Hart Hanson, Stephen Nathan, Ian Toynton and Barry Josephson are executive producers.
