Zakk Wylde: Good am Berserkers, meetings today with animators for new cartoon Im writing and developing. Learning lines for "Bones"....Not doing lines
Zakk Wylde (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, OZZY OSBOURNE) has revealed via his official Twitter account that he will appear in an upcoming episode of "Bones".
"Bones" is an American drama television series that premiered on the Fox network on September 13, 2005. The show is based on forensics and police procedurals in which each episode focuses on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI special agent Seeley Booth to the forensic anthropology team of Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan. Emily Deschanel stars in the title role, opposite David Boreanaz as special agent Seeley Booth. The rest of the cast includes Michaela Conlin, T.J. Thyne, Tamara Taylor and John Francis Daley.
Wylde isn't the first hard rock/heavy metal artist to guest on "Bones". The members of MÖTLEY CRÜE appeared in the series' season finale on May 14. In the episode, the band is playing at a nightclub where a murder victim is found. Guitarist Mick Mars gave The Pulse of Radio a little background on the show and the band's guest spot. "This lady's name is Bones and she goes around and does like forensic things on old bones that they find and stuff and she finds out how the person died or if the person was murdered or if they died of natural causes and that kind of a thing so it was kind of cool."
Mars revealed wasn't the first time MÖTLEY CRÜE had been asked to appear on a TV drama. "A long time ago we were asked to do 'CHiPs' and we kind of passed on it because we thought it was a little bit not us but this is I think more us 'cause, you know, it's like kind of dark and with the skeletons and forensic stuff and autopsy kind of weird thing and everything else and crime scene investigators and stuff that's more, more like a MÖTLEY CRÜE thing," he said.
