BONES: TJ Thyne Talks ‘The Suit on the Set’ and the Threat of Pelant

BONES get Hollywood-ized in tonight’s brand new episodes and the fans of the series aren’t the only ones excited about the prospect — BONES star TJ Thyne (Hodgins) told me it was one of his favorite 2012 episodes!
Take a look at what else he had to say about that and that pesky serial killer, Pelant, still being on the loose…

Bones Star Tamara Taylor on “The Suit on the Set” and Cam’s Secret Past — Exclusive

With only two more episodes to go we are gearing up for the inevitable – the Bones Season 7 Finale that David Boreanaz (Agent Seeley Booth) says will make fans unhappy. We know evil genius Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds) is back. We know the entire team is involved. And we know the Jeffersonians are facing some serious danger. But what? And who? So much suspense!

To distract ourselves from this impending trauma, we talked to Tamara Taylor (Cam) about the penultimate episode, Season 7 Episode 12, “The Suit on Set”, where Bones and Brennan head out to Los Angeles to consult on the movie based on Brennan’s latest book only to discover the prop cadaver is an actual murder victim. Meanwhile, Camille “Cam” Saroyan goes down a comedic path, bringing some levity to the series that promises to go out with a loud gasp this year. ...

BONES: Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan Preview ‘The Suit on the Set’

It’s only taken seven years, but the story of Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth is finally making its way to the big screen. Well, kind of.
On Monday’s brand new episode of BONES, “The Suit on the Set,” Brennan’s books — featuring the characters Kathy Reichs (AKA Brennan) and Andy Lister (AKA Booth) — have been turned into a movie, and naturally, there’s some trouble on set during the production of the film.
Before the March PaleyFest panel honoring BONES, I spoke with executive producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan about their Hollywood episode and those four bonus hours

Exclusive: Watch the Epic Bones Movie Trailer!

It’s only fitting that a week that saw the release of spellbinding new trailers for The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man would conclude with a breathtaking first look at Bones‘ big-screen offshoot, Bone of Contention.

The heart-stopping teaser trailer will be formally unveiled in Monday’s meta-tastic episode, which revolves around a murder on the set of the film version of Brennan’s novel featuring the characters “Dr. Kathy Reichs” (a.k.a. Brennan) and “Special Agent Andy Lister” (a.k.a. Booth), as played by faux actors Sherry Redfern and Blaine Conway, as played by real actors Ashley Jones and Jordan Belfi.

Got all that?

Doesn’t much matter. Just press PLAY below and prepare to be Blown. Away.

Ask Ausiello: May 1

Question: Loved the shots from Bones‘ Hollywood spoof. Anything else you can share about the episode? —Kristen
Ausiello: David Boreanaz got a major kick out of watching another actor — in this case Entourage‘s Jordan Belfi — inhabit Booth. “He really enjoyed seeing me play the role,” says Belfi, whose character gets cast as Booth’s big-screen alter ego, Special Agent Andy Lister, in the movie-within-the-TV show (hilariously titled Bone of Contention). “It’s not like I’m doing an impression of [David], but I’m playing a guy who thinks Booth is the man. He thinks he’s an action star. My character literally says to Booth, ‘You’re like Steve McQueen, man — I’ve got to do you justice.’ He’s an overly enthusiastic actor who wants to do justice to what he perceives as the rugged masculinity and action star qualities that Booth has.” Belfi says the episode is “so meta it almost folds in on itself,” adding, “It’s a really fun episode. Bones has this light touch anyway, but there’s a lot of comedy in it.”

Ask the Addict: 22 March

With all the hype surrounding BONES’ upcoming trip to Hollywood, I couldn’t help but notice that both the producers and cast were being relatively mum on what role — if any — Dr. Camille Saroyan plays in the episode? — Wilson
The TV Addict: If the producers and cast are being a little less than forthcoming with regards to what role — if any — Cam plays during the show’s much-anticipated trip to Hollywood that sees Booth and Brennan investigate a murder on the set of the film adaptation of Brennan’s book, it’s for good reason. And we say that as someone who was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of Cam’s costume courtesy of Tamara Taylor’s very own iPhone photo album that she was kind enough to show off during a recent one-on-one in Toronto. Suffice it to say, a completely different side of the good doctor doesn’t begin to describe things. So stay tuned!

Two Booths in LA? #Bones

Spoiler Chat: February 22

leriam10: totally #bones deprived! Any info to help me survive till April!! Please!
You mean other than how David Boreanaz wants to be on Downton Abbey? (Yes, this idea is ludicrous but fun.) Well, you know how Booth (Boreanaz) has many, many talents and we are always begging to see more? No? Well, we're going to see him attempt something in an upcoming episode that few are brave enough to try: standup comedy. Why the change in profession? To catch a killer, of course! Who thinks he's going to crash and burn on stage?
