THE THUMB BONE’S CONNECTED TO THE TWEET PHONE (Audio Interview)

When “Bones” premiered on FOX in September 2005, there was no such thing as Twitter.  (It wouldn’t launch until the following year.)  But the loyal “Bones” fan base adapted swiftly and successfully to the social media sensation, making it one of their primary destinations for news about the show and its stars.  In fact, according to executive producer Stephen Nathan, the show is one of the biggest in the Twitterverse, and its cast and crew like to keep a close eye on what’s being said...

‘BONES’ PRODUCER: THE SHOW CAN GO ON FOR ‘MANY YEARS’

After a brief detour to Friday nights, "Bones" returns to Mondays on FOX. The series was recently picked up for a 10th season and continues to prosper, thanks to the obvious on-screen chemistry between leads Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, a great ensemble cast, and some clever crime-solving.

A few years ago, executive producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan had speculated they thought the show might be able to run through a 10th season, which might make the show's sizable fan base a little worried about its future. But now that he's starting to plan for that milestone season, Nathan (who will be taking over as showrunner from Hanson, its creator) is starting to realize that his earlier assessment was wrong.  These days, he can envision the series running indefinitely... even if it means watching Booth and Brennan turn old and gray!  ...

Charlie Worsham Explains How He Dies On TV’s “Bones” Tonight To Good Morning Guys

I have to admit to being a big Charlie Worsham fan. His debut CD “Rubberband” is one of my favorite CD’s of the last year and he has become a good friend of the Good Morning Guys. He even came into the studio live to sing for us during last years 28 Hours of Hope. Charlie had a big hit with his debut single “Could It Be” and his new song “Want Me Too” is set to be a big smash as well. Charlie is adding a new talent to his resume tonight when he plays a country singer on the hit TV show “Bones”. He gets murdered. So sad. We talked to Charlie about his “death” this morning.

The brilliant minds behind the show, creator/writer/producer Hart Hanson and executive producer/writer Stephen Nathan, couldn't have fathomed that the series would be on the air as long as it has, and credits the FOX Network for playing a major role in the longevity of the show.  (Click on the audio player below to hear Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan)...

Fox Insider: ‘BONES’ BOSSES: ‘WE COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT FOX’

"Bones" is one of the longest tenured shows on the air today. The show, now in its ninth season, continues to be one of the most popular shows on television today. Audiences not only love the dynamic between Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) and Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan (Emily Deschanel), they also love the great ensemble cast.

NO SPOILERS: ‘BONES’ EXEC KEPT EMILY DESCHANEL’S BABY SECRET

It’s a good thing Hart Hanson hates spoilers. He’s the creator and executive producer of “Bones,” and when the star of his show, Emily Deschanel, found out she was pregnant, he was one of the first people she told. And yes, he kept the news of her impending blessed event a secret.

Now that Deschanel’s gone public with the news, that’s opened up all kinds of speculation about what might happen to her character, Dr. Temperance Brennan, as the show winds up its sixth season and starts to plan for its just-announced seventh season this fall.

While Hanson’s not about to divulge any secrets about how the pregnancy might be dealt with on the show (he did tell us he’s pitched the network six different scenarios), when he talked to Fox All Access, he expressed a great deal of gratitude to Deschanel for confiding in him, and praised the dedication she’s showed to her fellow cast and crewmates.

DAVID BOREANAZ ALWAYS EXPECTS THE UNEXPECTED ON ‘BONES’

Yes, the Jeffersonian team does solve a case each week on Bones, but at its heart, the show is about the relationships between the cast members. Of course, much of the show revolves around Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz), who have run the gamut of emotions, yet maintained a high level of sexual tension throughout the show’s six seasons. And now, with the news that Deschanel is pregnant with her first child, who knows how that might be factored into the show’s seventh season? (The show’s creator, Hart Hanson, has even said he’s not sure how the show will handle it!) That’s all fine with Boreanaz, though — he told us that part of the fun of being on Bones is exploring the unexpected in the Booth/Brennan relationship...
