'Bones' EP teases what's next for Hodgins, Booth and Brennan, S12 and more
"Bones"
finally returns this week after a much too long hiatus. On Tuesday,
April 12, executive producer/co-showrunner Michael Peterson spoke with
reporters about what's coming up with Hodgins' paralysis, the newest
serial killer and the team's relationships – and even gave a few teases
for season 12.
When "Bones" season 11 left off, Hodgins was paralyzed following an explosion at a crime scene. When they talked to TJ Thyne about it, "he could not have been more excited to really stretch his legs as an actor by not using his legs," the EP shared, going on to say that they didn't want this to be something that was "very quick and done." Instead, they "wanted to make sure it affected everybody" and you'll see how everyone reacts. For example, "Booth is much more about the hope and Brennan is looking strictly at the science of the situation, which is not so hopeful."...

(ARTICLE) What's Emily's favorite episode?
Does Emily Deschanel have a favorite episode of her series Bones?
—Annette L., Cleveland, Ohio
A: Deschanel, 39, says her favorite episodes of Bones (returning to Fox to begin its spring season Thursday night, April 14) are the ones where she and co-star David Boreanaz go undercover. Of those, she singles out the circus episode from season four, “Double Trouble in the Panhandle.” “I had to learn how to fake walk on wire, so it wasn’t me actually tightrope walking very high,” she says. “But I got to do it on a much lower wire, which was a lot of fun filming the close-ups.”

Top Eleven Things You didn’t Know About Bones
1) Odd Coincidences
There have been some very odd coincidences which have taken place directly involving Bones and real life. Here are a few of the most strange and startling of such coincidences. One episode of Bones had a story line based on a wrestler who also happened to be a dwarf, this episode was known as “The Dwarf in the Dirt,” and not long after that episode a real dwarf wrestler was actually murdered. Another episode belonging to the television show had a Santa Claus-bank robber, and, oddly enough, that very thing happened in real life soon afterwards. “The Tough Man in the Tender Chicken” was a season five episode where bits of a human body ends up in chicken nuggets. This also actually occurred not long after the writers of Bones had conceived of that very event. One has to wonder how such strange and unique coincidences might occur...

Bones: 10 Reasons You Should Love James Aubrey
We were all a little skeptical at first.
James Aubrey showed up just as Sweets was murdered, and it was impossible to trust his character at all. Once we finally learned we could trust him, it was still difficult to like him. We didn’t want anyone replacing Sweets, and we didn’t want anyone taking away from the partnership between Booth and Brennan.
But now that we’ve gotten to know him, it’s even more impossible not to love him. Here are just a few reasons why...

Science on TV: The Women of Bones
There are many shows on TV that show the power of science, particularly
when it comes to solving crimes. None, in my opinion, do a better job
than Bones. If you have never heard of the show, here’s a brief
synopsis. Set in the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington D.C. the
medico-legal lab assists the F.B.I. in solving murders when the body has
decomposed beyond recognition. The team is headed by forensic
anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan (played by Emily Deschanel). It is
her job to identify a victim from their bones and to also determine how
they died. Dr. Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) is a pathologist and
former coroner of New York City, she uses the soft tissue of the body to
establish if a person was poisoned or what their last meal may have
been. The final main female team member is Angela Montenegro (Michaela
Conlin). She is an artist at heart and she creates facial reconstruction
to help identify the victim. She also uses technology to help with the
investigation such as looking at security camera footage...

(Video) TV tonight: Why Bones is Enduring
Bones
Fox, 8 ET/PT
If you want to know why Bones is entering its second decade when most shows don't reach a second year, here's at least one reason: The show's writers have been remarkably adept at discerning what their audience wants and delivering it. (And if you think that's an easy task, consider all the shows that have come and gone since Bones premiered.) In this case, that means bringing Booth and Brennan back together and putting them back in their old jobs — and just three episodes into the season... Bones: Get the Answers to 6 Burning Questions About Season 11
Just
because it looked as if Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily
Deschanel) were done with the whole crime-solving scenario in the Season
10 finale of Bones, doesn’t make it so.
In the Season 11
premiere, it was revealed that Booth was lying to Brennan about what he
was up to when he wasn’t working at his cushy, new job training
recruits. Now, he is missing in action and bleeding profusely from being
shot. Exactly what he is involved with, how badly he is wounded, and
his actual whereabouts will be revealed in this Thursday’s episode — the
second part of the premiere — when Brennan and the Jeffersonian team
uncover information that gives them answers...Tipster: geraghtyvl,

‘Sleepy Hollow’ Showrunner Talks Season 3 Changes, ‘Bones’ Crossover
“Sleepy Hollow”
has undergone some changes in the break between seasons two and three,
but when the supernatural series returns to Fox on Oct. 1, the most
important aspect remains the same: the relationship between Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), which is as strong as ever despite the yearlong time-jump that saw them spending some time apart...
