Freddie Prinze Jr. Previews His Return to Bones, Admits He's Never Watched Buffy (but Weighs in on Angel vs. Spike)

Freddie Prinze Jr. has committed the ultimate TV sin: "Ive never seen Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
Though he's married to Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Prinze, who makes his return to Fox's Bones in tonight's episode, admitted to E! News that he's only seen one episode of the beloved cult hit. "Oh, you can judge. That's fine, I don't care," he said after we shamed him for missing out on Joss Whedon's masterpiece. "It wasn't written for my demographic, so I never saw it."
The single episode he has seen? "Once More With Feeling," the show's iconic musical episode. "Well, they had a tap dancer in it that I thought was really cool. I wanted to watch him dance."...

Bones: Can Booth and Brennan Trust Booth's Old Friend?

On Monday's Bones, Booth will be forced to question the honesty of a former brother in arms.

During the episode (8/7c, Fox), Booth( David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) investigate the murder of a woman that seems to indicate a believed-dead Afghani terrorist is still alive. As it turns out, the victim was actually a CIA source for Danny Beck (returning guest star Freddie Prinze Jr.), one of Booth's buddies from his Army special forces days. And although FBI-CIA communication is never particularly strong, Danny makes things worse by keeping very important information from Booth during the investigation...

Q&A Interview with BONES EPs Hart Hanson & Stephen Nathan About Rest of Season 9 & Season 10

Yesterday afternoon, TV Tango participated in a conference call with BONES Executive Producers Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan, who dished about the Ghost Killer and the end of Season 9, revealed guest stars and possible storylines for Seasons 9 and 10, and dropped some hints about the show's 200th episode and its future beyond Season 10.

On March 10, 2014, BONES returns to Mondays at 8pm ET/PT on FOX. In the first episode back, guest star Freddie Prinze, Jr. teams him with Brennan and Booth in "The Source in the Sludge," which explores a murder involving national security and some personal relationships which cause awkward and dangerous conflicts of interest. Plus, this episode also marks the beginning of the trajectory toward the season ender.

'Bones' EP teases 'conspiratorial' season ender; plus, an exclusive clip from new episode!

Bones returns to Monday nights next week with the final stretch of its ninth season, which promises to present Booth and Brennan with a situation like none they’ve ever experienced, according to executive producer Stephen Nathan.
“Sort of the past few years, the cliffhanger was Pelant [Andrew Leeds]. It was a serial killer. This time, we wanted our ongoing threat — at least from the end of season 9 to the beginning of season 10 — to be something very vague and conspiratorial rather than one evil person,” he tells EW. “It took us in a very, very different direction and put the characters in situations we haven’t seen before.”
For details, check out our chat with Nathan, where he talks about Cam’s (Tamara Taylor) first meeting with Arastoo’s (Pej Vahdat) parents, Wendell’s (Michael Grant Terry) cancer struggles, and whether or not Booth (David Boreanaz)  and Bones (Emily Deschanel) will be planning for baby No. 2 any time soon. Also, check out an exclusive clip from Monday’s episode!...

Exclusive Bones Clip: Booth, Brennan Squabble About Insurance (It's Funnier Than It Sounds)

Whose life is worth more — Booth or Brennan?
That thorny question is raised in Monday’s first post-hiatus Bones (8/7c, Fox) when Brennan discovers that her life insurance premium is higher than Booth’s — and, as you can see in the following exclusive clip, she’s having none of it...

(I'll keep an eye out for a YouTube version for international fans.)

Ask Ausiello: February 18

Question: Is the death of Ralph Waite going to be written into NCIS and Bones? —Kevin
Ausiello: It’s TBD on both fronts, although I hear there’s a good chance Bones‘ next original episode — tentatively scheduled for March 10 — will pay tribute to the beloved actor in the form of an “in memoriam” title card.
